Whew, I made it. Well, I started this series in 2013 and did... I think almost the whole thing except for V1 and some of V2. Really turned out to be a project for a lot longer than I expected. I thought it was gonna end last year or the year before. I did a whole bunch of research as I did this to make sure I got all the names and such right, learning way more about early Switzerland than I ever had any expectation to. And I think the story had a satisfying ending. Certainly killing off characters so fast made it episodic, but you did feel some emotion with this I thought was a bit different from most manga I've read. I hope everybody enjoyed it.

The album "Saigou no Seisen" (The Final Holy War) by Kinniku Shoujo Tai (Muscular Girl Band) contains a song 'Tachimukau ~Kurui Saku Ningen no Shoumei~' (Fight Against ~Proof of the Humans Blooming Out of Season~). Making the feeling of this song into a manga was one of the things that influenced Kuji to create this work.
I hope that those that share this feeling will make their own works in the future.
Anyhow, this work, "Wolfsmund" was never in danger of being canceled mid-way through the series, allowing me to end it in the form I wanted when I had my first meeting about starting the serialization.
The fact that that happened is purely due to how doggedly the editors stuck with me. In that way, this manga is their work. First, I feel I have to give thanks to my editor that was the driving force behind this manga.
At the same time, I also have to take a moment to thank all the staff that lent a hand in getting this work published.

And all of the readers that supported this manga over the years, it is because of the kindness of every one of you that this work exists. To the readers that supported me all this way, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm aware I'm still a novice, so I'm still worried about whether or not I met everyone's expectations.
