Short Piece Oneshot : The Gentleman's Cinema Club

Another oneshot that really shows off Otomo's love of film and film culture. I think this oneshot is a bit hard to appreciate without considering when it was written and the cinema trends in Japan around the time. Also, another cute note is the fact that he basically mimics in format and composition what was being done with roman porno and pink films when the characters in the narrative shoot their own film. I guess you could say this is a pink mango about a blue film.
