Hello, Amazume Ryuta here. Thank you for purchasing "Toshiue no Hito." It took me five years to create this...I'm surprised. I had never experienced such a long time with the same character like this before, so it as all brand-new to me. But it's all thanks to the ones who supported my work. Thank you so much. Over these five years, however, the art, the characters, the setting, and the way I draw manga really changed, I think. ...I want to think it all changed for the better. I got really attached to all my characters. Until that point, I hadn't believed such a thing was possible. I'm still a bit sad about having to say goodbye, so I still like to imagine what happened to them afterwards.

Tsutomu got a wife who can really spoil him, and I wonder how long he can keep up his "sort-of staggering" lifestyle? For example, if he transfers to a new publishing company, or goes solo! It's hard for me to imagine what happens after that, and I don't even know myself, but I think his wife or sister has something to do with the way things turn out.

Ageha-san received the element of "strongest," so I doubt she will change anymore...bodily-wise, either. However, as she gets older, will she at least be able to outdo an elementary school student in not only height but cup size? I wouldn't want her to lose her "girlish" attributes no matter how old she gets, though.

I wonder if Nanoha will inherit her father's blood and grow tall? Someday when she goes out with her mom, she'll be thought as the "older sister", maybe. (which will really anger her mother)

1: I want Fukamizawa-san to become successful writing adventure novels for boys, sometimes doing poem presentations and stuff. However, no matter how old he gets, he always appears in public in a leather jacket.

Aya-chan maybe becomes a swimming school teacher or something? Then she'll fall in and out of love with various men, calling up Hashida when she needs consoling. Then I imagine her complaining to Ageha-san about Hashida not having the courage to propose to her.

3: Morino living a cushy life as a bank clerk can't be bad, right...? But then maybe she falls in love with a co-worker who happens to have a girlfriend he's doing long-distance with...I want her to keep being that pining-style character (how inhuman of me)

1: I ended up losing sight of Sada, when I originally wondered if I was going to have him sleep with Ageha-san. Or maybe have him make contact with his old girlfriend for the first time in 10 years...all the men I draw area really effeminate. Sorry.

2: In my head, I have these two going out together, going to love hotels and stuff. I really liked Asai-senpai as a character, but I couldn't really fit them into the conclusion I desired for Ageha and Tsutomu...Asai-san went abroad for a year once, so maybe she becomes a middle school English teacher (a teacher with glasses!!) Hayashi-senpai probably stays as a research student at the university forever, never losing that "student" feeling. No matter when someone meets him, they always ask "You're STILL in school?"

3: The only character more biting than Morino is Mai-chan. She has the sorrowful fate of being attracted to losers, but since she has such a positive personality, I'm sure she's off taking a trip somewhere and spoiling some good-for-nothing man...wish she'd come to my place.
