Chapter Four
The Earth in Peril[11]

68)
1: Now do you understand?
2: the flow of the air...
3: The flow of the oceans...

69)
1: And the eruptions of these volcanoes...
2: Don't you think they're all happening rather systematically?!
3: Look closely. From over 100,000,000 years ago, the earth has been regulating its balance in this manner, keeping its conditions at a specific defined level...
4: The only conclusion one can arrive at is that the earth is alive!

70)
1: For example, let's say a huge meteor crashes into the earth.
2: boom

72)
1: A horrifying chaos has erupted on the earth...
2: But watch carefully. Using an unbelievable method, the earth will return itself to normal.
3: That is to say, through switching out the creatures on the earth, the planet can use them to carry it outs repairs.
4: But what is the driving force?
5: klak
6: If we look at the inner structure of the earth, we can find out.

73)
1: Look!! The earth has a heart.
2: It's voluntarily sending out magma energy!!
3: But, shockingly enough...look closer.
4: Just as human society modernized...
5: Different movements apart from the earth's own began.
6: And the closer we get to present day, the greater they become!
7: The balance has collapsed!!
8: And yet, the earth still attempted to repair itself!

74)
1: Through typhoons,
2: sunlight,
3: famine,
4: disease,
5: and war.
6: See? The earth tried to restore its balance through all kinds of methods.
7: But to the humans, all these methods were seen as disasters.
8: Because to humans, peace means conquering all these kinds of things.
9: And the humans did it.
10: As a result,
11: see what happened!!
12: At last, within the earth itself, a flow different from that of the earth's began.

75)
1: And one of the many man-made objects on this planet,
2: look!
3: Stopped the earth's heart!!
4: Look!! Look, this is the current state of the earth!!

76)
1: To put it in pathological terms,
2: the earth is about to die!! The earth is now in the midst of great peril!!

77)
1: And if my theory is correct, then even more terrible things are about to begin right now! In other words!!

78)
1: The earth will begin to exact its revenge on the human race!!

79)
1: Sssshh!!
2: Dr. Kanematsu.
3: The words you spoke just now are dangerous.
4: If people heard that, they might think of you as a hater of humanity.
5: In any case, Dr. Kanematsu,
6: the video you showed me just now looks like nothing more than earth crust maintenance!
7: This is just too unbelievable, there's no way I can present it at the next world leaders' meeting.
8-9: bam
10: Father, open it!
10-11: bam
12: creak

80)
1: Father!!
2: T-Tarou!!
3: Wh-what are those wounds from?!
4: The bugs.
5: What about the bugs?
6: What happened to Ayame-san and the others?!
7: This is outrageous.
8: dash
9: Fatherrr.
10: Ahhh, the shutter to the corridor is...
11: Why is the shutter down in a place like this?!

81)
1: creak
2: Ahh, father,
3: creaaak
4: Don't open thaaat.
5: creaaaak
6: Ah.
7: fwoosh

82)
1: Uwaaaaaaaaah.
