Ikigimo refers to the innards (for this series, the heart) cut from a living human, eaten as a source of power.

Page 17, "sneaking about" / "nurari kurari to" + "Nurarihyon"
The phrase "nurari kurari to" refers to slipping away, being difficult to catch, and this is why Youhime suddenly understands his name "Nurari"-hyon. Nurarihyon the youkai is always sneaking into people's houses and slipping away unnoticed.
