Bleach 227

Hopefully it's alright if I make a new topic for this week's Bleach script translation. I'm sure Djudge will post a translation as well, but I figured this might be useful for those people who are interested. Bear in mind that this is just the script so there are no page numbers and no guarantee that this is all the dialogue or even the right dialogue for the chapter (the translation, however, should be free from any glaring errors):

*Sidetext: What cuts through the night is…laughter!?

Yumichika: Oh----how cuuuute!!! Ha ha ha ha!! That girl really has an unbelievable sense of fashion…

*Yumichika gets headbutted by Ikkaku. Ikkaku is wearing really horrible clothing.

Ikkaku: …shut up! You just keep making noise…

Matsumoto: HAAAAAHAAAHAA!!

Ikkaku: Ma Ma Ma Matsumoto!? How the hell did you get in here!!

Matsumoto: Through the front door. The door was unlocked. You all sure picked quite the unprotected/uncautious place to stay. Has your taste changed a bit since you started staying here? (she’s implying that his clothes are so awful that he might be gay, insane, etc.)

Ikkaku: These (the clothes) are just loaners from the owner of this house!!

Matsumoto: Aaand you just wear the clothes that the owner puts out for you!?

Ikkaku: Of course I do!! They’re giving me a place to eat and sleep for free so do you think I can complain about a shirt like this!!

Matsumoto: Really? I complain all the time about food and clothes.

Ikkaku: Hey…what poor soul did you end up staying with…

Yumichika: Oh, with that girl, Orihime-chan. It might be someone else’s problem, but that is quite the shame…

*Keigo then comes in through the door.

Keigo: I’m hoooooooooooome…Ikkaku-san, Yumichika-san…how are you dooooing?

*Keigo sees Matsumoto’s breasts.

Keigo: Yaay!!! Whether dream or reality, this is the second coming of the Goddess of breasts!! Even wearing clothes, the criminal nature of those obviously round breasts!!!

*Keigo then gets kicked like he did before (see scenes at school). This time however, he managed to block the kick and hold his stance.

Matsumoto: !

Keigo: He he…It seems as though… I’m being underestimated. The same attack won’t work on Asano Keigo twic…

*Before he can finish, Matsumoto kicks him in the head and knocks him down.

Ikkaku: …hey, just because he caught on doesn’t mean you have to go that far.

Matsumoto: Sorry, got carried away.

Mizuho: Darling, I’m hooome! Have you been a good little boy---!?

*Mizuho sees Matsumoto with Ikkaku and puts some space between them.

Mizuho: …I’m sorry…I must have the wrong room…Hey wait!!! That can’t be, making me play along with such a stupid joke. Just who the hell are you!!!

Matsumoto: …are all the people who live here like this?

Ikkaku: It’s only going to get worse so you’d better get out of here after you finish what you came here for. What did you come here for anyway?

BLEACH 227: The Swordless Soldier

*Cover: Mizuho with Keigo behind her.

*Sidetext: Gather round! Under our flag!!

*Scene change

Urahara: Well hello Inoue-san, it’s been a while~

Inoue: …ha. (likely out of breath)

Urahara: I’ve been watching these two shaggy looking men for so long…having a woman in the workplace certainly brightens up the atmosphere! Please, have a seat!

Inoue: Sado-kun…Renji-kun…Umm…Urahara-san…

Chad: Ugh!!

Renji: Urahara-san! This guy’s done. Let’s call it a day for today!

Inoue: Sado-kun!

Urahara: Tessai! Ururu! Please knock Sado-san awake please!

Inoue: !

Chad: …Wa…Wait…I can still…go on…!

Renji: …You’re taking this tough guy act way too far.

Inoue: …Urahara-san…what did you…want to talk to me about?

Urahara: …Matsumoto-san from the 10th division stopped by here a little while ago.

Inoue: !

Urahara: You know about the Royal Key already, right? No doubt she’s already told Madarame-san by now. Such a conversation so suddenly was certainly outside of our expectations, but as such we and Soul Society have had to begin preparing for the upcoming war in winter. It will be an all-out battle and it’s likely that a lot of blood will be shed. In addition, we and Soul Society both will need power far greater than what we have need up till now.

Inoue: …yes, I want to…get stronger too…!

Urahara:…I see. Let’s put it this way then, Inoue-san. I am keeping you out of the upcoming battle.

Inoue: ……..eh…..?

Urahara: Tsubaki. After being destroyed in the battle with the Arrancar…he has yet to recover, right?

Inoue:…yes…he was so badly torn up that…I don’t even know how to heal him…

Urahara: Tsubaki is your only real battle weapon. By losing him, there’s no way that I can allow you to take part in the war. It’s obvious.

Chad: …Wa…Wait…Urahara-san…! Inoue is our friend…She even fought with all her might in Soul Society…How can you just leave her on the sidelines after she said that she wants to get stronger!

Inoue: …Sado-kun…

Urahara: Isn’t your reasoning a bit too clouded in emotion? Do you want to allow Inoue-san to die?

Chad: No! Inoue has powers more important than fighting…she has defensive and healing powers!

Urahara: I know about the Santenkesshun’s defensive powers. They likely won’t be much use in the coming battle. And for healing, we have the 4th division. This time it will likely be Captain Unohana and Vice-captain Kotetsu-class people on the frontlines. There should be plenty of people to take Inoue-san’s place.

Chad: but…

Urahara: You’re too persistent! I’m telling you that a warrior who has lost their power is just a burden.

Chad: Urahara-san!!

Inoue: …it’s okay.

Chad: ?...Inoue…

Inoue: …it’s okay…thank you, Sado-kun…thank you, Urahara-san…it’s good that you told me…excuse me!

*Inoue runs away

Chad: Inoue!!...Abarai…!

Renji: Let it go, Urahara-san’s right. Even though the 4th division specializes in healing, they still have gone through the battle training of the 13 divisions. Inoue, on the other hand, might have healing powers, but she’s still just a human. On top of that, her temperament is just not suited for battle. This is probably a good time for her to stop…

Chad: …Inoue…

*Urahara is staring off into space.

*Scene change, Aizen is looking at the footage that Ulquiorra took (when they fought on earth). The images are of Inoue.

Aizen: …what an interesting power, girl…

Sidetext: Orihime after taking those pitiless words. But, an even more unbelievable stare/set of eyes chases after her… (*this could refer to Aizen or pretty much any one of his goons...we'll just have to wait until next week to see)
