P1.B1: ….
P3.B1: ….
P4.T1: As I expected.
P5.B1: ….
P7.T1: 3 blockers, huh…
Page03:
P1.T1: What a smooth block. They got us…
P2.T1: The perfect block creates a line with the shoulders and the wists of your teammates.
P3.T1: When your shoulders are on the same high, all arms are stretched equal.
P3.T2: And by putting your hands so that the small finger touches the neighbor ones,
P3.T3: let’s a block of 3 people
P4.T1: appear to the attacker
P4.T2: like a single wall.
Page04:
P1.T1: It’s not easy to get the three people in front have perform such a block.
P1.T2: That they were able to get such a smooth 3-man block
P1.T3: when they shouldn’t have expected Katou’s back attack, means
P2.T1: that they all have started to mark him.
P3.B1: C-- // Calm down!
P4.B1: It were just 3. Not like they all came to block me.
P4.B2: It was just a fluke. No need to panic.
Page05:
P1.B1: My toss was too weak. You okay?
P2.B1: Y- Yeah.
P2.B2: It was obvious this was gonna happen. // It’s common sense to stop the good players.
P3.B1: Y- Yeah.
P3.B2: I’ll hurry the toss a bit, can you keep up?
P4.B1: Sure!
P5.B1: We overdid it with leaving it to Katou.
P5.B2: Let’s vary our attacks with some combos.
P5.B3: Impossible.
Page06:
P1.B1: The captain doesn’t want that.
P1.B2: Eh?
P2.T1: ~~!?
P3.T1: A back attack…?
P4.T1: Again!?
P6.B1: ~~
P7.T1: Is
P7.T2: he serious!?
P8.B1: Let’s do it!
Page07:
P1.B1: Bring it on, Kaneko.
P2.B1: …..
P3.T1: Their perfect 3-man block.
P4.T1: It’s not unpenetratabe.
P4.T2: But the current Katou
P4.T3: has no techniques, that let’s him aim for one touches.
P5.T1: With a certain distance from the net, the back attack becomes a hard to block spike.
P5.T2: it should work---
P6.B1: !
P7.T1: They shouldn’t expect a 2nd coming.
Page08:
P1.T1: It’s important to go all out!
P2.B1: They’re coming again.
P3.T1: Don’t waver.
P4.T1: I’m the hero!
P5.B1: Once more!!
Page09:
P2.B1: !
P3.B1: ~~!!
P5.T1: Again.
Page10:
P1.T1: with 3…!
P1.B1: Nice.
P1.B2: It’s over. No use in trying anymore.
P2.B1: We can’t get past this. We’re just wasting our stamina, Kaneko.
P2.B2: I—I know.
P3.B1: Yuuta!
P4.T1: Eh!?
P5.T1: On--
P5.T2: Once more!?
Page11:
P1.B1: ….
P2.T1: Huh… What’s going on.
P2.T2: Seeing as the captain gives his okay over and over
P2.T3: means that the block is penetratable.
P2.T4: But I don’t know how I am supposed to shoot…
P4.T1: No.
P5.T1: I’m the super ace.
P5.T2: Obviously I’ll be marked.
P5.T3: Yeah.
P7.T1: I have my high jump!
P8.B1: What now…. // Are we really going to go again with it!?
Page12:
P1.B1: Come on, Kaneko!!
P2.B1: At least his guts aren’t lacking.
P3.T1: I’ll do it.
P3.B1: Okay.
P3.T2: I’m the ace.
P4.B1: Don’t joke around. Like I would let you.
P5.B1: The back attack eats a lot of stamina.
P5.B2: There’s no way he can jump 3 continued back attacks, that didn’t even score.
P6.B1: Come, Kaneko!
Page13:
P1.T1: No good.
P1.B1: ~~!
P3.B1: !
P4.T1: Damn…
P5.B1: Another back attack!
P5.T1: I can still jump!
Page14:
P1.B1: Wraar
P1.T1: I’m the ace. There’s no way I can’t score!
P1.T2: I just need to jump higher
P2.T1: than their block!
P3.B1: Uh…
Page15:
P1.B1: !?
P1.B2: Outside!
P3.B1: ~~
P4.B1: You better stop.
P5.B1: You tried three times and couldn’t score.
P6.B1-3: Hah
P7.T1: Couldn’t score….
Page16:
P1.B1: ….
P2.T1: Couldn’t score..
P4.B1: Katou!
P4.B2: Move.
P5.B1: Grr.
P7.T1: There’s no way…
P7.B1: Gah.
P7.B2: Susuki!
P8.B1: Hey.
Page17:
P1.T1: There’s no way!
P1.B1: The net!
P2.B1: Aww~~ // It’s over, Harutaka-kun.
P4.T1: There is….
P6.B1: ….
Page18:
P4.B1: You okay, Harutaka-kun?
P5.B1: ….
P6.B1: Shit…
P7.B1: You know the risk of a back attack, so why did you make him do it?
Page19:
P1.B1: After three continued jumps, everyone would be wasted.
P1.B2: On top, it’s Katou’s first game.
P2.B1: !
P2.B2: Captain.
P4.B1: !
P5.B1: You can’t jump anymore?
P6.B1: W- Well…
P7.B1: But you have no choice. You’re the super ace.
P7.B2: You have to jump.
Page20:
P1.B1: You’re in the next set too.
P2.B1: Be ready.

Side: Hello everyone, Maiko here. There are quite a few terms in the Volleyball world. So I’ll explain here in the “Let’s Attack World” a few of them. Then you’ll understand it better.
Topright: The player’s positions and their names. // As widely known, the players divide in two halves, the front and the back. In the usual 6-man volleyball the front player are named, from the right: “Front right” (Short also just “Right”) FR, “Front Center” (Short also just “Center) FC and “Front Left” (Short also just “Left) FL. The back are named from the right: “Back Right” BR, “Back Center” BC and “Back Left” BL. [picture:] Front Row // Back Row
Topleft1: Setter // The player who tosses. Normally, the setter plays Front Right. He can oversee the whole game, stays calm, has good judgment and works as the control point for the team. The greatest setter, in both the Tokyo Olympics and the montreal Olympics is said to be the late Nekota Katsutoshi.
Topleft2: Wing Attacker // The player who shots the attacks (spikes) at the front. Also called “Wing Spiker” or “Side Attacker”. Since the setter who raises the toss is in the middle, it refers to the player on his side.
Topleft3: Blocker // The players who try to stop an attack. Lately, not just one, but 2 or 3 players move together to block a special powerful attack.
Bottomright1: Ace Position // usually the Front Left is called as such, since it’s easier to toss to, therefore being able to concentrate better on attacking.
Bottomright2: Super Ace // The player solely concentrating on attack, be he at the front or the back. Usually he is positionated diagonal to the setter, therefore also called “Opposite”. To be able to attack from the back with a back attack, he needs both jumping power and power.
Bottomleft1: Libero // A player speciliazed in defense. Usually, he changes positions with other players and one team only may have one, since he can freely move on the court.
Bottomleft2: Quick Attack // Also just called “Quick”. It’s an attack, where the ball is raised fast and low for an immediate attack. It depends from where the toss is made, so there exist four varieties, A-D. A high level skill, requiring precision and exploiting the opponent’s gaps.
Bottomleft3: Back Attack // An allowed attack behind the attacking line from a jumping player of the back row. Such an attack is called “Back Attack”.
