23th July, 9:30 AM-----
So hot~ And it’s just 9.
It’s going to get even hotter~

Page 04

We’re going like discussed in the meeting. // Don’t forget to confirm the signs!
Yes!
I want the people on the bench to support the players by supplying the water.
Yes!
We’re going to win this game with the strength of the whole team!

Page 05

Furuya will be pitching first! I take you’re fit?
Yes!
Also, Kawakami and Sawamura,
Make sure you’re ready anytime too.
Yes!
Yes!
Mh?
He included Sawamura too, right… (That’s rare…)

Page 06

Did something happen with the Coach yesterday? // Else it’s strange, you know?
He has good observation.

Page 07

What are you sulking for in the corner?
Go take a seat on the bench.
‘Cause it’s bright.
Ugg!! (Be careful you don’t burn your head!)
Just speak normally!!
Guys….
So tall..
Let’s go!

Page 08+09

SEIDOU
Ohh, what an applause.
Their stands are quite packed.
(Furuya~ <3)
They got a brass band and cheerleaders too…
Compared to our….
Well…They’re busy with summer school.

Page 11

Even my parents toll me to quite baseball already!! (Makes me want to cry!)
Captain // Shiratori
Haha. Mine are the same.
Center // Ninomiya
To me they said “We didn’t put you into Akikawa so that you can play baseball”
Well… nobody thought we actually would make it this far.
Third Base // Hashimoto
Second Base // Tsushima
But
We can’t quit now that we came this far!
After meeting Shun we came to know the joy of winning!!

Page 12

Yuumin is the best after all. // It calms my heart.
Yuumin!? (Just how much of a Japan fan are you!?)

Page 13

By the way, Shun.
How’s your condition?
Condition?
Like always.
Throwing like always. // Holding down the batter like always.
That’s the role of a pitcher.
No matter what the opponent is.

Page 14

(Fufufu…)
Are there any more reliable words?
Or rather, like Shun said
No matter who the opponent, just play your own baseball!!
Okay, let us enjoy this game to the fullest!!
Yes!

Page 15

Seeing as Akikawa is the first to attack, I bet they want to score first and go at their usual pace.
But… Seidou has without doubt the better cards.
Basically it comes down to how good You-kun’s pitching will hold down Seidou’s line up.
Either Seidou, who makes it into the top four every year---
Or Akikawa, centred around You-kun and aiming high----
The winner will advance into the best eight.

Page 16

Good thing we’re playing in the morning, where the heat hasn’t gone up so much yet.
With that, you should be able to pitch like always.
…

Page 17

I plan to pitch until the end today.
….Geez.
In his case, it’s not just putting on air.
He really thinks that. And that’s why it’s scary…
Learn already to pace yourself!
….
Hey, what’s with the pause…
