Daiyo no A Chapter 76

Page 01

Top of the first with two outs and runners on first and second.
Up to bat is Akikawa’s Ace, the number 5 You Shunshin.
I’m going for a hit,
Coach…
C- Coach, he wants to hit…
We can’t allow the pitcher to regain his posture…That’s what you mean, right Shunshin…

Chapter 76: Spark

Page 03

That player called You...
is involved for most of their points up to this game.
To not let them get the upper-hand, // we want to suppress them here, right
Yeah!
Miyuki...
You're pulling Furuya...
Looks like he finally wants to hit seriously...
Then...

Page 04

There----

Page 05

Yeah~~!!
Nice, Furuya!! // Nice Ball!!
Aw~ On a high Ball...

Page 06

From the batter box, that pitch has power enough to fool you...
Even Shun can't hit that..
He suddenly got the timing for Furuya's pitches.
(Not as much as I thought) [he speaks chinese? with small jap subtitles xD]
(Is it because of the set position?)
(I can get this)
He----

Page 07

(Don't follow it by the eye.)
(Feel it with the body.)
Another high one---
Works in our favour if he swings again...
!

Page 08

Ball!
Calm down, Furuya!!
And then get into the spirit!
Again with power....
Did he felt the weird aura around You too...?

Page 09

(feel it with the body)
(Don't chase it with the eyes)
(Feel it with the body)
Don't put in so much power!!
The area still spreads. The pitch can't be used as a finisher.
We have to make him lose his will to swing and settle it with a straight.

Page 10

We'll definitely end this inning with him. [as in the last out]
Shun...
...Shunshin.

Page 11

Furuya---!! Even if they hit off you, we're here!!
We're all sitting in a big ship, so with all your might...
Don't say jinxing things!! // You mud ship!!
Mud!?
It's still just the first inning, Furuya---!!
Don't panic and throw like always---!!
We're behind you!
Bash him a good one!
So many people
Furuya~
are calling out to me...
Give your best~

Page 12

I cannot betray
their encouragement.
(I'll hit the coming pitch)
No power! Relax your arm!

Page 13

Good!
And now
drop----

Page 14+15

Eh!?
It's not dropping....

Page 16

LEFT!!

Page 17

That's going to be a close catch.
Don't be reckless!
Just make sure you get it---
I'll get it---
Slip by!!

Page 18

Idiot!
Don't do any lucky plays on the first inning!
The runner from second makes it home!!
The runner from first is also past the third base!!
...Don't

Page 19

FUCK WITH ME----!!

Page 20

Akikawa Academy takes the lead with 2 points----!!
Their Ace You's bat
got the first hit off the strong-armed pitcher!!
