SUMMARY:
While our protagonists Ageha and co. travel back and forth between the present and future, they fight for both their lives and a way to prevent the destruction of the world. Up against Dholaki and Shiner's overwhelming strength, the team starts falling one by one. But just as they faced what looked like their last moments, both Ageha and Amamiya are saved by the grown-up children--!!

(When I have to look for kanjis, I use the furigana, y'know...)
Something you'll learn when you improve your reading skills is that there many times (for stylistic purposes) the comic will use kanji but put furigana next to it that has something different.
In this case, it lit. says by kanji: "not allowing any enemy close"
but small next to "enemy" is "shiner".
So, it's really up to the translator to interpret which to use, and because our languages don't use this pictorial character set we can't preserve the flavor you get in the original japanese (but chinese and korean can, for example).
