By merit of the fact that Nemesis Q changed the past, it has also brought an unwanted side-effect--people in the future remember him, and want to kill him so no one else can tamper with it. Good show!

He was touted by the leaders of the Shimabara Uprising as the "Fourth Son of Heaven," foretold by the Jesuit missionary, Saint Francis Xavier, to be destined to lead the Christianization of Japan. People believed in him because they thought he was the fulfillment of St. Francis Xavier's 'prophecy' that there would be 'the Son of God' born in Shimabara and he supposedly did miracles. Shiro led the defence of Hara Castle and died when it fell. His head was displayed on a pike in Nagasaki for a very long time afterward as a warning to any other potential Christian rebels.

His death poem was: "Ima rōjō shiteiru mono wa, raise made tomo to naru." ("Now, those who accompany me in being besieged in this castle, will be my friends unto the next world.")

...sooo he's one of those historical figures people think might be reincarnated. I guess.

SUMMARY
While our protagonists Ageha and co. travel back and forth between the present and future, they fight for both for their lives and for a way to prevent the destruction of the world. Unannounced, Nemesis Q materializes and delivers an SOS from its creator! Ageha and Amamiya, together with a few of the children from Elmore Wood, decide to head to Mukurojima, the location where Q's master supposedly is. It seems their enemy will be "Usui"...but who exactly is he...!?
