Aaaand being the idiot I is, I managed to start typing the oh-so-lovely summary page in my browser only to accidentally hit this stupid back key on my keyboard and poof! I get to retype it all. Luckily I think I've finally found something that will prevent that at last. Hopefully this is the last time (or else i'll go crazy)

THE STORY OF DOUBLE ARTS (same in japanese)
The incurable disease called Troi infects the world...Elle, a traveling sister, visits Turm while offering treatments when all of a sudden she is struck by convulsions, but is saved by a young boy from the town named Kiri. For some reason, "as long as she holds his hand" (or more precise, as long as she touches him), her convulsions cease. [if we examine Kiri's body, perhaps we'll discover a cure...] Thus, willing to wager on the chance that Kiri's mysterious power holds the key to saving the world, the two wait one more week in town for reinforcements arrive before heading off for the Sisters' headquarters. Just what lies ahead on their journey...?

KIRI LUCHILE
16 years old. His family runs a clothing store. Trusted by the townsfolk so much so that he is responsible for the Festival of Thanksgiving. His fingers are extremely nimble, and his artistic talent is second to none. Perhaps the reason he is immune to Troi is the mysterious power he possesses, named "Flare"...

ELRAINE FIGARETTE (Elle)
16 years old. A Sister. Has lost her friends and family to Troi. If she stops touching Kiri, she goes into convulsions. Because of this, she is forced to be always together with him. Has terrible bed hair and violently tosses and turns in her sleep.

CHARACTERS

SUI
Something like an ex of Kiri's. A member of the rare race of "Clear Nagins". Very strong. Favorite food is cherries.

MINK LUCHILE
Kiri's mom. Tiny, but very kind.

URANTES LUCHILE
Kiri's dad. Huge, doesn't talk much, but very kind

MARTHA LAGUNA
Sister who gives Kiri and Elle instructions via phone. Someone with a very high position within the Sister's organization.

GAZELLE ASSASSINS
A mysterious organization that targets Sisters. Although their intentions are unclear, it is thought their objective has something to do with the fact that Sisters can treat Troi.

TROI
Dating back almost 700 years, this disease has claimed over 1 billion lives and yet still has no effective treatment. It is transmitted by directly touching the skin. In its advanced stage, convulsions begin and the victim's body turns transparent, ultimately disappearing entirely. This is why it is also called the "Vanishing Disease."

SISTER
Term indicating membership to the Order dedicated to the treatment of Troi. It is served by an extremely small number of rare young women who show an unusual tolerance to the disease's effects. By touching an infected person's body, they "Drain" the Troi and halt its progression, however in doing so they take it into their own bodies and as a result shorten their own lifespans. There are two kinds, "Maille Sisters," which specialize in treatment, and "Militaire Sisters," which specialize in combat. (The unit being dispatched to Kiri and Elle's location is the Falzen squad, an elite group even among the Militaire)

FLARE
A mysterious power Kiri has possessed since birth. Kiri himself calls it this, but the name's origin is unknown. Through direct touch, his partner's immunity, regeneration, and even physical strength are amplified.
