a pretty simple chapter but it gave me a run for my money trying to find good ways to translate it...do tell me if anything doesn't make sense.

CALL.39 - "Trance" (t/n - the kanji is for scythe, as in the weapon)
bold vert thing: They escape from the shelter... / and now, the battle begins!!

SUMMARY (left)
-Right as Ageha and the crew find solid clues as to the source of the world's destruction, they are discovered by the WISE. They attempt to escape by splitting up, but are pursed by the attackers, leaving them no choice but to fight. Amamiya is confronted by Gizani, and she invokes her "Insanity Scythe" Mind Jack. Just what is this new power of hers...!?

-In other words, it's impossible for her to block my swords!!

-Because she's confident that her scythe won't lose!
-Which means, she's not the one I need to target--
-It's her scythe!!

-TRANCE IS WEAK (t/n - by kanji, it's actually "the mind is weak". i'm kinda debating which is better to use here...and i'm leaning for the latter. well, take your pick. point here is that this was a battle of two very different styles of fighting)

-A mind bomb, which makes the enemy hallucinate

-Rather, it activates simply by exposure to the quantum thought waves I'm giving off
-But in order to show you such a powerful illusion,
-I had to create an explosion at point-blank range
-The key was the moment you cut my scythe...!!
-All I had to do was wait for you to try to destroy it
-How could I have been fooled by the likes of YOU!?
-Don't treat me on the level of you single-celled organisms, you crazy girl!!
-Are you okay? You're giving off...smoke?
-tehehe...looks like I cut your core clear in half

I think it should be "Insanity Scythe", though. "Size" and "scythe" would be pronounced the same in Japanese so it's an honest mistake, I'd say. I read it as "size" as well when I first saw it in the raw last week.
Also, I'm wondering why you write "Gordeaux" when it says 'Gorudofu' in the original Japanese. The "eaux" suffix would be pronounced as just an "o" since that's French, right? I would probably have romanized it as "Gordolf", sorta like a combination of Gordon and Adolph. Not sure, though.

Well, I was thinking this too, although I couldn't find any proof. I've never ever seen scythe in katakana, always in kanji, nor can i find it by a simple google search (everything comes up size). But it makes perfect sense given the kanji...so i'm going to change it.
Muwahaha. The answer is so simple, ready? ...I thought it was a "u" at the end and not a fu. Heh. I didn't bother to read the name at all for some reason after translating it from two chapters ago, I just autopilot pasted it over and over 'cuz I had a mental block or something.
I'm changing it to Gordov. Now you're probably going to ask why v because there's no nigori...just look up a bunch of romanizations for russian names and you'll see why.
