Q: I’m a 100% big fan of Wingman and Msakazu Katsura-sensei. Sensei, please tell me your profile and your debut work.
A: I was born December 10th, 1962 (Showa 37) in Fukui. Blood Type is A, Height is 170 cm, weight 54 kg, eyesight is 1.5 in both eyes (I think…).
My hobby is sleeping recently. That’s enough for my profile. My debut work is a manga called “Tenkousei wa Hensousei!?” (The Transfer Student is Masquerading!?”

Q: Um, I have a question immediately but, “Hirono” is, perhaps, has the meaning of “a hero”?
A: Ah, you understood well. But of course. From the start, I decided his name would be Kenta and, at any rate, he’s a hero, I made him “Hirono Kenta” since it’s “Hero no Kenta”.
(TN: I guess this is better understood in Japanese than it is in English. The Japanese way to say “Kenta the hero” is “Hiiroo no Kenta”, thus why Katsura made his name “Hirono Kenta”. (or Kenta Hirono in English order))

Q: I’ve rea—lly loved reading chp. 1 of Wingman. Hirono-kun is good. What’s escaped a bit is he has an incredible affinity. I feel that his “cute” is greater than his “cool”.

TN: It's sort of lucky that Kenta is already infamous with his sentai obsession, considering that he can get away with being a real Wingman without drawing any attention aside from his "destroying class" routine that the school is already used to by this point. Though in a weird way, I found it hilarious that Matsuoka is more powerful in some ways than one of Kita Kura's Seedmen...guess when she's on a rant, you can't stop her! Also find it refreshing that Aoi is starting to help out a bit more in these fights instead of always being a DOD...but of course since she's not the guy with the Dream Note, it's not like she can increase her own power to face Rimel's forces or just Kita Kura for long!
