Togashi: I hear the shriek of a maiden that could tear up silk.
Togashi: I don’t know who it is, but I could save her from danger.
“Girl”: We can have tea around here as thanks…………

Togashi: Shut up, you three talking and talking too much. A granny like that has steadily saved up her money.
Matsuo: Going there today, Togashi?
Togashi: Naturally. I see the hundred-million right in front of me………

Togashi: Aah, aren’t you the old guy who drove to attack that granny? Do you want a revenge match?

Man: That granny is an outrageous delinquent granny who drinks hits and buys. She was caught cheating in gambling and has strung up holding tremendous debts.
Man: In order to drive away the collectors, she pulls in a young man with reminiscence of her dead son and the bait of a hundred-million yen. I was completely caught in it too.
Man: Of course, she doesn’t even have a yen of her hundred-million in her savings. And her son didn’t die in the war; he died three years ago in a traffic accident.

(TN: I went with “Gokuaku” as the name of the company, though it’s Japanese for “heinous” or “scoundrel”)
“Mother”: Well kill me. No one cares about me. How’s that? Even if I die, no one will be sad about it----!!
“Mother”: Kekkekeke, with nothing to pay with, I don’t have a reason to pay!! If it’s fine to pay even with my body, then that’s a different story.
Thug 1: Fufufu, you’re a great granny. We say you’re greater than we scoundrels.
Thug 2: F**KING GRANNY, I’LL SEND YOU TO HELL AS YOU WISH!
“Mother”: How on, that was a lie now…!!

Thug: Wahhahaha, you can escape via the window, but this is the 3rd floor.
“Mother”: Hi—So…someone, save me---!!

Togashi: We’ll really be burned helping the granny.

Thug: Just like that……
“Mother”: Th…thank you. I deceived you and yet you saved me…
Togashi: Fufufu, it’s fine already, granny.
“Mother”: I was so lonely...it’s cause my only son had died……From…now on, I’ll change my ways and live like that for the little life I have left……………
Momotarou: Fufufu, don’t worry about the future. If they come by again, we’ll throw them away anytime.
“Mother”: Yo…Yoshio---!! It’s me, your mother---!!
Togashi: It would have been better to kill her after all.

TN: I sort of feel ashamed of saying at the end of vol. 1 that we had finished with the "one-shots" for the most part...because we were stuck with this thing three chapters after Akashi! (luckily this is the last real one-shot until around the end...) And to tell teh truth...it wasn't as bad as I feared but it was still rather problematic. Probably the best I can say about this chapter is that Togashi sort of has his pride even with the hell he goes through from the old lady to putting up with the thugs trying to fleece her even if she literally has nothing. (though some of it she deserved) Less we say about this chapter though the better...
