(TN: The "All-Nation Mock Exams" is in reference to "Mogishiken", an examination that equivilates to the PSAT in the US where students take a fake exam in preparation for their super-hard college exams which are different from university to university)
Takashi: She wasn't just about scholastic results: she had a goddess-like existence in our grade, excelling in sports and in duty as president of the student council since 11th grade. The only memory I have of her was...
Takashi: Close to our high school graduation...we made a unilateral promise but I broke it.
Ayako: Tomorrow is the final mock-exam...are you getting tired?
Takashi: Ah...Shinagawa-san!
Ayako: Fujii-san, are you interested in pictures like these?
Takashi: Huh...?

(TN: Shounan is a resort region on Sagami Bay in Central Bay, centered around the island of Enoshima)

Ayako: I want you to see it for real, without the picture. If you go to B tomorrow, then I'll permit you.
(TN: Really not sure what she meant saying that)
Takashi: It was an eye-turning temptation.
Takashi: However, I did take the final mock-exam and ended up breaking my promise to her. I also was still a coward towards females......I didn't grasp the real intention of why Shinagawa Ayako invited me.

Takashi: Right...it's because you wanted to get joy from ruling and controlling people, even when you were successive chair of the student counsel and aiming for the beauracracy!! I was correct to choose the mock-exam.
Ayako: You can't refuse me this time. This is work I have to do.

TN: I think there's a valuable lesson here: reject a girl obsessed with being in control...and you'll be forced to play "dog" with her in an S&M-style manner years down the road. Yeah...that's probably not the real lesson and Takashi did finally get even, but it's weird that sometimes something so minor in high school would lead to Ayako end up playing mistress to him at this stage. Some people just want to always be in control...luckily the whole "bike scenario" cleared things up, but it is weird it took something so extreme to clear up...the dog bit. (no, not a fan of S&M so reading that whole sequence wasn't one of my favorites)
