With his body wearing down and facing an opponent surrounded by metal strings, Hien has placed his bets on what he has called his "final technique!" But will can deadly operation really break through Senkuu's surrounding technique!?

Chp. 69: The Birdman’s Final Fist

44.
Toramaru: He…hey, that Hien said he’s revealing his last technique now!! Wh…what exactly does “his last technique” mean!!
Date: ……………………It can’t be, you’re going to risk your life on that final fist……!!
Momotarou: Final fist……!?

45.
Senkuu: Fu, a final fist………but whatever it is, we won’t be seeing it.
Senkuu: ROUCHUUKEN BAKUCHOUSATSU!!
(TN: “Rouchuuken Bakuchousatsu” = “Setting String Fist: Stretch and Bind Murder”)
Hien: !!
Hien: Uh!!

46.
Senkuu: Fu…you’re barely protected your neck by defending with senbon…………but what can you do in a state where you can’t use your hands?
Hien: Ununuu…………
Senkuu: At this rate, though I’m fine waiting until you run out of power, that’s not my style.

47.
Senkuu: Ha--!!
Hien: Nu!!
Toramaru: Wh…what? He’s flying at him with sharp spikes from his shoe heels---!! If he takes that kick directly, his skull will be smashed to pieces---!!

48.
Senkuu: Ugu!!

49.
Senkuu: Fuffufu, you’ve done it. Facing your leg with my kick and without a momentary opening for getting free, you used a deflection so you could escape from the Bakuchousatsu.
Senkuu: However, you are also at the limit of physical strength. You should understand that you yourself can’t win in this condition.
Hien: You truly are strong……but I’m not finished this!!
Date: Here it is……!! Hien’s final fist………!!
Toramaru: Wh…what--!!

50.
Togashi: Huh…!?
Toramaru: Wh…what---!! That Hien has pierced a senbon into his own arm---!!

51.
Hien: CHOUJINKEN GOKUI: SHUUENSETSU!! I will show you my final fist in this world……!!
(TN: “Choujinken” is obviously Hien’s style, “Birdman Fist”. “Gokui” = “Essential”; “Shuuensetsu” = “Nodes of Demise”)

52.
Toramaru: What exactly is this? Explain it, Date--!! Bl…blood is quickly gushing out. Isn’t this as if he’s committing suicide by a large amount of hemorrhaging!!
Date: Don’t you get it…he’s torn up his own nerve ganglia to pieces.
Toramaru: Wh…what---!!

53.
Date: The key to Kakushi Senbon Danshinsetsu, which is applied practically for Chinese anesthetic needle techniques, is to go through nerve ganglia, giving an opponent damage; but due to this, the point of the severed nerves temporarily has the ability of raising the motion facility possessed with the body to its maximum limit…however, due to them being beneath the major arteries in each point of the body, these nerve ganglia will certainly cause death by a large amount of hemorrhaging when struck. This is Choujinken Gokui: Shuuensetsu.
Toramaru: So…so then, Hien will……..
Date: You’re going to use all the power you possess for your next attack.
Date: Conversely, you lose your life………!!
Senkuu: Splendid……you’re tenacious in this fight……so come: I’ll take your final fist from the front!!

54.
Toramaru: St…stop, you can’t die Hien---!!
Momotarou: It’s useless………
Momotarou: What he’s doing now is only engraving his brave form within our hearts…………!!
Hien: OOH!!

55.
Hien: SHUUENSETSU: SOUSHOU KYOKUKOU!!
(TN: “Soushou Kyokukou” = “Double Palm Ultimate Twinkle”)
Senkuu: Nuao----!!

56.-57.
(And that’s how Hien does it)

58.
(And a bit more)

59.
Togashi: Hi…Hien………
Toramaru: He…did it---! Hien won----!! Now we still have time: hurry and get treatment to stop the bleeding-----!!
Hien: Togashi……
Hien: I ask you for the rest………we’ll truly win with you……………I’m certain……
Togashi: Huh…you ask me for the rest…so then what does that mean……………!?

60.
Togashi: Hien---!!
Hien: To…Togashi, I believe in yo…your victory……………even if I die, if you win, then we’ve both won…
Hien: I…ask that of you…………

61.
Senkuu: He was an enemy and a great man………………
Senkuu: Choujinken’s Shuuensetsu Soushou Kyokukou: if it went just a bit deeper, I wouldn’t be alive. I bare this much of a deep wound. He died by opening a path as a sacrificial stone for you fighting me next.
(TN: Senkuu’s reference of a “sacrifical stone” is a sacrifice in the game of “go”, akin to a “sacrificial pawn” in chess)
Senkuu: Come………!! It’s best that you fight me unashamed for him as well…
Caption:
SANMENKEN HIEN HAS DIED…IN THE DAIISHIN PAAREN SEIHA'S RYUUBON TEIMOU FIGHT

TN: It's strange that while Hien's sacrifice in some ways is similar to what happened to Raiden in the previous fight, the means by which it occurred and the reaction of the opponent has a different ring to it. First of all, it's insane that Hien himself knew Senkuu wasn't going to go down thanks to the Shuuensetsu and that Togashi would have to take over, but that's why he ended up saying those final words. But regardless, the sickness, both of the attack and in the cost to Hien was just great stuff for Otokojuku standards. Secondly...I just get more and more respectful of Senkuu by the chapter. It's strange though: though just as killer as Manjimaru, he respects Hien and all he did, to the point that he lets him die like this and is showing praise even as he takes his last breath. I'm not saying Senkuu is a nice guy but compared to what we've seen, he is a peculiar fighter...though now it's all up to Togashi next time!
