-> RTS Page for Sakigake!! Otoko Juku 93
In a shocking turn of events, Momo has used Jaki's own weapon against him, electrocuting the Third-Year head! Has the First-Year Head finally secured victory for his side in the Paaren Seiha...and what of Jaki and the Third-Years!?
Chp. 93: Seppuku by Fist
149.
Wan Taaren: The…lightning! The…lightning is directly striking Jaki’s body…………!!
Tazawa: The wire’s pointed tip thrown high into the air was struck by lightning, going into Jaki’s body…!!
150.-151.
Jaki: Ugugu!!
152.
Tazawa: He…won!!
Matsuo: Mo…Momo has defeated Jaki…!!
First-Year 1: Mo…Momo---! Hurry and get the key from his stomach so you can save us from here---!!
First-Year 2: This match is already over---!!
First-Year 3: It’s going to be dangerous over here too soon---!!
Wan Taaren: Somehow that Jaki was directly hit by lightning without problem…
Wan Taaren: But even so, what a great turnaround………!!
153.
Tazawa: Huh—what is that………!? Wh…what’s going on? Momo is still set up in front of Jaki’s corpse----!!
154.
First-Years: Wh…what? Jaki is st…standing----!!
Matsuo: He…hasn’t died yet---!!
Wan Taaren: That body is un…believable………!!
155.
Jaki: Nuuu
Jaki: Guaa---!!
156.
Momotarou: !!
157.
Hidemaro: Wh…what--!! Jaki’s fist has pierced through his own stomach---!!
Momotarou: ……………………
Jaki: Uuh!!
158.
Jaki: I…I’ve lost, Tsurugi Momotarou…………
Momotarou: !!
Jaki: Now take this………have this and quickly go to save your classmates.
Jaki: Fu, that was a good match…………
Momotarou: ………………!!
159.
Jaki: GUHA
Jaki: H…hurry and go, you don’t have time…you First-Years have won…………
Edajima: What a splendid man…Daigouin Jaki, Head of Otokojuku Third-Years. That was seppuku by fist, so to speak………as the losing general, he strained the last of his power to hold responsibility.
First-Years: HEE-Y, MO…MOMO, HURRY AND DO THIS----!!
160.
Jaki: I’m…sorry. I’ve betrayed your trust and expectation……………
Third-Year: We’re…coming with you…………Jaki-sama!
161.
Tazawa: A…amazing, as expected of the Otokojuku Third-Years! So…though they’re going to die from here, not one of any of their facial expressions has changed……
Matsuo: The…they’re greatly different from us!!
First-Year 1: Y…you idiot!! Is this the time to admire them!! Uwaa, we…we’re falling---!!
First-Year 2: Mo…Momo, what are you doing---!!
Akashi: Principal……!! Are you intending to let the Third-Years die without doing anything?
Edajima: Throw that away. This is the match!
Akashi: ……………!!
Jaki: G…go, it’s useless to sympathize with the loser………we’re resolved to share our fate with each other.
Momotarou: You can’t do that. With the match over, we’re not First-Years or Thrid-Years. We’re all students of Otokojuku.
Jaki: Huh……!!
162.
Momotarou: Gufu!!
Matsuo: Wh…what: Momo’s hit his own stomach---!!
Jaki: ………………
163.
Momotarou: Akashi-senpai---!!
Akashi: !!
Akashi: Got it!
Jaki: Y…you’re……!!
Tazawa: Mo…Momo’s saving the Third-Years too---!!
164.
First-Years: Ooh, Momo’s coming---!! H…hurry up---!!
Edajima: Use this rope. You can’t jump down from this height.
Akashi: Principal!!
Edajima: Hurry!
165.
Wan Taaren: He opened the door: when he pulls the lever, the great scale will automatically be fixed. Fu…Edajima-dono, you’re a Christ too.
(TN: This is a weird expression: basically Wan Taaren calls Edajima “Hito no Ko”, which is Japanese for “son of Man” or “Christ”. Not sure what this has to do with Edajima but I translated it as I saw it)
Edajima: You don’t know anything either.
Wan Taaren: !?
Edajima: No, it’s not just you: both Momo and Jaki alone have it…
Wan Taaren: What exactly is this…………!?
Edajima: THIS IS THE TRUE MEANING…OF THIS DAIISHIN PAAREN SEIHA!!
166.
First-Year 1: He’s…done it, we’re saved---!!
First-Year 2: The Daiishin Paaren Seiha is our perfect victory---!!
First-Year 3: Momo, we expected this as our boss---!!
167.
Voice: Hey, the Third-Years were all saved too---!!
Jaki: You’re a great man, First-Year Head Tsurugi Momotarou…I thank you: now I am at peace……………
Momotarou: JA…JAKI----!!
TN: Well...aside from the next chapter (based on the epilogue we had of the Kyoura Daiyon Kyousatsu being after the actual tourney's end)...this is essentially the final conclusion of the Daiishin Paaren Seiha. And in the end...well, we finally see the nobility and sacrifice, as well as the care and brotherhood of all Otokojuku, particularly in the three heads working together to save all sides. I think probably the best and most interesting character in this chapter was Akashi: being that he wasn't part of the tourney and next to Edajima during the climax of the fight between Momo and Jaki, he is the one who probably felt similar to Momo in the value of all Otokojuku students, but at the same time was afraid until the end to say anything lest Edajima be angry. But of course, Edajima is always playing games and putting on poker faces regardless of true intention: somehow he knew that Momo, Akashi and Jaki (even to his end) would make the right decision regarding the relationship and brotherhood of the schoolmates...sure there were some problems but those we're going to mention next time. But hey, the fact that the First-Years finally gained their victory after such a long arc and battle against their seniors means deserves a bit of a break...which they may not be getting with what's ahead...
