In two matches, Otokojuku has revealed the cruel and cowardly nature of the warriors of Rouroukan and manhandled them appropriately. But the leader of the team...may be a many stone-throws away from his teammates!

Chp. 103: Enter the Manager of Rouroukan!!

163.
Date: Well, a man’s promise shouldn’t be repeated. As you promised, you will cut open your stomach.
Chindou Taishi: …………………………

164.
(Title Page…sort of hope Dokugantetsu does better than he did against Hien)

165.
Date: Well, what’s wrong? You’ve already held that pose for ten minutes. Or is it that Rouroukan is a gathering of cowards with only lip service?

166.
Togashi: That Date really is a bad guy.
Toramaru: Well this is truly interesting, even if he doesn’t cut his stomach open.
Togashi: Well isn’t he a sadist?
Toramaru: Hey~~~!! Date, shouldn’t you rightly forgive him!!
Togashi: Right. If he’s crying about it, then he can’t bare dealing with it. Kakkakaka
Date: Fu, could I do that?
Date: This is how your boss is. Even if we fought any further, they wouldn’t have meaning. We recognize this as victory for Otokojuku. Don’t complain.
Rouroukan Fighter: Fuffuffu, who said that coward was our boss?
Date: What…!?

167.
Togashi: Hu~~h?
Toramaru: What’s that shrimp!?

168.
Sou Reigen: I am the 15th Generation Manager of Rouroukan, Sou Reigen!!
Chindou Taishi: Manager……!!
Date: Sorry, but I don’t have it in me to fight a brat. Do as you want for the rest of this.
Toramaru: Wahhahahaha, that’s hilarious. That shrimp is the manager~~~!!
Togashi: So we couldn’t see him cause that shrimp was hidden on their other side until now~~~~!?

169.
Chindou Taishi: Fo…forgive me……………Manager………!!
Sou Reigen: This isn’t the place for excuses…………You’ve disgraced the traditional honor of Rouroukan.
Sou Reigen: This crime is worth certain death.
Sou Reigen: If you can’t cut open your stomach on your own, I’ll cut it.
Chindou Taishi: Hi!! S…stop…!!
Toramaru: ……………..

170.
Chindou Taishi: Fo…forgive me Manager--!!
Chindou Taishi: Gua!!
Chindou Taishi: Ooh!!
Toramaru: Huh, what’s going on---!!
Togashi: The arm of slant-eye that’s holding the dosu is rising on its own---!!

171.
Chindou Taishi: HII!!
Chindou Taishi: Ssssave me----!!
Chindou Taishi: BI…BIE~~~~!!
Toramaru: Wh…what---!!

172.
Chindou Taishi: Guku
Chindou Taishi: Ugyaa---!!
Sou Reigen: ROUROUKAN HIGI: SHOUKYUU SOUDAN!!
(TN: “Shoukyuu Soudan” = “Sky-Soaring Manipulating Bullet”)
Sou Reigen: Tidy this up by throwing this fool’s corpse into the sea.
Rouroukan Fighters: RIGHT!!
Toramaru: Wh…what was that now……!?
Togashi: Sl…slant-eyes cut his own stomach open……………!!
Raiden: I…don’t believe this. That surely is Shoukyuu Soudan…and that youngster who doesn’t have years has it……!!
Momotarou: Shoukyuu Soudan………

173.
Commentary:
Shoukyuu Soudan…A kenpou that practically applies traditional Chinese medicine, which is held within three-thousand years of Chinese history. By smashing in silver throwing stones no greater than 5-millimeters in length, it stimulates the knots of the body’s muscle tissue; by the reverberation of tendons, they can manipulate freely their opponent’s entire body.
The main point of the technique is for the throwing stone to smash without even a bit of deviation into the opponent’s knot.
Incidentally, those who have grasped this technique perfectly are only three, even within the long history of Chinese kenpou. This is a next-to-impossible art.

Sou Reigen: Come.
Togashi: He’s making fun of us---!! Th…this time it’s my turn----!! I’ll show that brat right in his eyes!!
Toramaru: You say so? Shouldn’t you leave this to me!!
Voice: Hold on. Let the face of a senpai stand up to him.

174.
Toramaru: Do…Dokugantetsu----!!
Dokugantetsu: Unforgivable. He cold-bloodedly lifted a hand to his own follower. That twisted brat will be intensely punished by me.
Dokugantetsu: Hmph!!
Toramaru: Aah, Dokugantetsu---!!

175.
Sou Reigen: Fu, I’ll take care of you real easily. You seem nothing but a good-for-nothing on the outside.
Sou Reigen: But it’s impossible for you to win against me.
Dokugantetsu: Heh, you won’t shut your mouth, you unlovely brat.
Dokugantetsu: Take this: Hakubu Daienban---!!
(TN: “Hakubu Daienban” = “Howing-Wheel Big Disk”)

176.
Sou Reigen: Fu, a monster yo-yo?
Dokugantetsu: Huh!!
Dokugantetsu: Uuh!!

177.
Dokugantetsu: !!
Togashi: Wh…what---!! That shrimp’s one kick has blown away Dokugantetsu---!!
Toramaru: And it seems like he just touched him lightly with a tiptoe----!!

178.
Dokugantetsu: Y…you brat---!!
Dokugantetsu: Gufu!!
Sou Reigen: You have to meet a person with great eyes in order to judge them from their outside.
Dokugantetsu: HUH!?

179.
Dokugantetsu: !!
Toramaru: Wh…what---!!
Togashi: Th…that shrimp has lifted Dokugantetsu’s giant frame over his head----!! And with one finger---!!
Dokugantetsu: Gua.
Dokugantetsu: Nuuu.
Dokugantetsu: You a**hole---!!

180.
Sou Reigen: You don’t get it yet.
Dokugantetesu: Ge!!
Dokugantetsu: Gaha!!
Dokugantetsu: Wh…what!? My hands turned behind me and can’t move---!!
Toramaru: Do…Dokugantetsu---!!
Togashi: At this rate, he’ll be split in two with the return of his own disk----!!

181.
Dokugantetsu: Uwa---!!
Dokugantetsu: MO…MOMO---!!
Momotarou: I’ll take this fight so it can be a boss battle, senpai……!!

TN: Dokugantetsu has been a rather strange character for me because of how he had been depicted in his two previous fights. In his first fight, he was a formidable silent opponent that Togashi had to knock down on a room filled with spikes...and I liked him a lot. But in his second fight, he was an arrogant, over-voiced warrior with an unexpected acrobatics and who got easily tossed aside by Hien. While some of the acrobatics remain when he entered the ring, luckily Miyashita went back to the Dokugantetsu I respect in this fight with Sou Reigen...and in some ways, further developed some of his character traits more demonstrated in his fight with Togashi. He was the only of the Chinjuu Corridor fighters who really respected and understood the original First-Year kouhai from how they proved themselves in his room and let them pass instead of holding any vengeance towards them (Henshouki) or merely was a ringmaster who was held back for getting passed him (Baron Dino) Therefore seeing how Sou Reigen bossed around his partners and killed them with his abilities is a proper reason for him to angered. Yet at the same time, Dokugantetsu is at a major disadvantage, not just from his anger blinding him but because the Rouroukan leader's attacks are very similar in some ways to how Hien defeated him: by attacking a point that can't be forged regardless of the forging of a musculature. I can't say what the final result of the fight will be, but I do finally have regained my former respect for Dokugantetsu in this chapter and hope somehow Momo takes down Sou Reigen for what he's pulling...
