Further, the emperor of the times selected sixteen people who particularly excelled in military arts and placed them by his side, making them bodyguards he directly controlled. Their techniques possessed a power that was just absurd; these people were feared for with innumerable killer techniques with unique tactics.
Momotarou: The inheritors of these techniques are the Olympus 16-Battle Gods…!!

(TN: As usual, I’ll pretty much be translating these weirder names taking the katakana names and trying to decipher the intentions of Miyashita. In this case, “Achilles” is actually a bit harder to decipher considering the first two kanji are “jaw feather” and the last refers to a river in Shandong…I guess he was just going by reading at this point)
Achilles: Are you fine with this being our fighting ground? You won’t steady from the terror of these sixteen human pillars buried by me.
Senkuu: Fu, that’s needless help. The seventeenth human pillar will be you, Achilles!!

Achilles: Did you think that Achilles would be defeated by your standard!!

TN: Remember when I said last time that the battle styles for the Otokojuku fighters were going to get as weird as the competition. Well...spiked tops spinning on top of wires definitely should have given that away. But then again, as compassionate as he is, Senkuu always did have a strange flair for him and it's not like he's going to go easy on Achilles regardless of the weird maneuvers either of them apply! This was a fun chapter that used a lot of strategy on both sides, whether it was Senkuu's handstand wire set-ups or Achilles burying underground to escape from the horde of tops preparing to rip him apart! (well considering he buried others there, it wasn't too hard to have him do something similar)
