Commentary:
The Sword of Veramis…In the era of ancient Greek myth, Veramis and Mars, gods of fighting said to be eternal rivals, were completely equal in their full power. Even after many battles to the death, they couldn’t come to a conclusion. One day, Mars pondered a plan: before their match, he secretly replaced Veramis’ favorite sword with a sword that was a bit heavier that was the exact same form. Since the unrealizing Veramis had a slightly heavier sword than usual, he lagged in controlling it and was defeated. In a situation where the powers of a duo that are equal to its limit are competing, if a deviation is created from any trivial matter, it is there that the superior emerges.

(TN: Jaki just yells out the kanji which has a reading of “han” but has a translation of “climb”, so I just ended up going with using it as a noise akin to certain other kanji used for SFX)
Toramaru: Ja…Jaki---!! Their…match is ending with a simultaneous strike---!

Zeus: Ho…how………!? The speed of our fists should have been exactly equal…………!!
Jaki: No, they weren’t equal. The Sword of Veramis is stuck in your back.

Zeus: Huh……!!
Jaki: I prepared a blade on the beak of just that one paper crane. Its beak attacked the controlling muscle of your arm and though your fist speed was weakened, you didn’t notice it.
Zeus: I…understand: the cranes that I knocked down were all a decoy for this……!! I…made this mistake………
Jaki: Sleep well, Zeus……!!

TN: I guess the key to this chapter is essentially "any little thing can be key to winning a match, particularly if it unsettles or gives a slight chink to your opponent". That pretty much is the lesson of the "Sword of Veramis" (trust me, I have no idea if it's "Veramis" or "Beramis", but for Greco-Roman feel I think "Veramis" is better): the way that Jaki manipulated the paper cranes (seeing a big tough guy like Jaki using paper cranes...only in Otokojuku, folks) to allow for one to have a different means of attacking giving him the edge to break the even chain between himself and Zeus was an impressive means of handling him. Heck, you probably could say that Jaki's entire battle strategy in this chapter was incredible, including seizing one of the Shining God Hands to break both of them because "only orichalcum can defeat more orichalcum"...it really shows how even both are and how it needed something as simple as "a crane with a blade on it's beak instead of it's wing" to stop Zeus. Of course, just when you think it's over...there is still the whole matter of Jaki dying of poison...
