It has been a bizarre showdown complete with trained warrior monkeys and killer mustaches, but while both Raiden and Enpou have weakened to their limit, only one of them can make it out alive! Who will it be...and what will be left for them?

Chp. 130: The Grand Finale!!

127.
Toramaru: He…did it--!! Raiden’s kick hit his brittle face--!
Togashi: You idiot, what are you so glad about---!!
Togashi: Even if he threw that kick, he hasn’t gotten rid of his fatal wounds; the situation hasn’t changed at all--!! As long as he can’t escape from that stance, Raiden will get killed---!!

128.
(Title Page…well not much really to say, aside from Enpou still having his “monkey paw” and the rods still bending and strangling Raiden)

129.
Enpou: Fu, that was Daioujou-ryuu Ougi: Shikoushin……………!! That was smart behavior. However, your technique now wasn’t from power itself, it controlling the forestalling the enemy; when my next attack connects, it will have meaning.
Enpou: Your movements won’t get you out and your posture possesses no meaning; much less that won’t work again.

130.
Enpou: You’ve just poured oil into my boiling anger----!!
Raiden: GU!!
Raiden: Ugugu!!
Enpou: I won’t leave out why I didn’t end this instantly.

131.
Enpou: I’ll make you understand---!! You killed three monkeys who were like my children: this is my anger and sorrow for them---!
Raiden: NUO!!
Raiden: ………………!!
Enpou: That’s enough. The next blow will take out your guts, which will bring and end to you as you wish.
Toramaru: RA…RAIDEN---!!
Togashi: Ra…Raiden will get killed---!!

132.
Enpou: Die, Raiden!! Watch, Mizaru, Kikazaru, Iwazaru!
Enpou: I now have cleared your regrets---!!
Enpou: !!

133.
Enpou: HUH!!
Toramaru: Wh…what’s going on there---!! That Enpou dropped his weapon just like he lost his grip---!
Enpou: Wh…what exactly is this……!?
Raiden: Finally, the true effect of Daioujou-ryuu Ougi: Shikoushin has emerged. Those needles were painted with aconitum poison……!! Already your right hand is paralyzed, you won’t even be able to hold chopsticks!
(TN: Aconitum, also nicknamed as “wolfsbane”, is a plant notable for its poisonous content)

134.
Enpou: Gu!!
Raiden: Ha---!!
Enpou: Wh…what are you doing---!!

135.
Enpou: Uoo---!!
Toramaru: Ooh, Raiden rotating with tremendous force while inserting Enpou’s neck between his legs---!!
Date: I get it: he’s intending to double his centrifugal force with Enpou’s weight so he can twist off the rope that’s linking the posts.
Enpou: Yo…you………!!

136.
Raiden: A PEACEFUL DEATH---!!
Enpou: Gua!!

137.
Enpou: Hi…hii---!!

138.
Toramaru: It’s…over---!! A…big turnaround for Raiden---!
Togashi: He used the terrifying power of the centrifugal force to throw Enpou’s whole body into the iron post----!!
Date: As expected, a great move that uses taijutsu only Raiden can do!! The bones throughout Enpou’s body have been broken in pieces……………!! That’s match.

139.
Enpou: Ho…hold on, wh…where are you going?
Enpou: The…match is…isn’t over yet…………!!
Togashi: Wh…what—I…don’t believe this: that Enpou is…getting up---!!
Toramaru: He still has that much power left in that body---!!
Raiden: ……………You’ve lost, Enpou!! You have little time left in your life……………!!
Enpou: I…I don’t have a reason to lose with this…………E…even if this body rots, u…until I clear the regrets of those three……!!

140.
Toramaru: Wh…what are you doing, Raiden---!!
Togashi: Enpou is straining the last of his willpower to attack him, and yet he’s squatted down not even noticing---!!
Enpou: Nuoo---!!

141.
Enpou: …………………….!! Wh…why didn’t you avoid it………!?
Raiden: Don’t make a sound: disturb my skills now it will be an abrupt recovery. If we don’t hurry…………!!
Enpou: Huh!?

142.
Enpou: WH…WHAT---!!

143.
Enpou: Wh…what’s going on……!?
Togashi: Th…the three monkeys are still alive----!!
Toramaru: Lo…look---!! Ra…Raiden is treating their wounds---!
Raiden: The discs of Daioujou-ryuu Higi: Rinshou Renge that I attacked them with is completely the fastening of blades. As you can see, their bleeding is severe, but their lives were saved for just having cerebral concussions!!
Enpou: ………………!!
Enpou: So…stupid, wh…why……!! Those monkeys were going to take your life…………!?
Raiden: My enemy was you. It was not these monkeys.

144.
Raiden: You should be relieved: if they rest for a while, the monkeys will wake up.
Enpou: T…tell me……………Wh…why didn’t you tell me……………!? If…if I had even a word tha…that the monkeys were alive, then you could have escaped the torture of my Chuubakuka………………!!
Raiden: In a match of men, words don’t exist. THAT IS ALL…………!!
Enpou: ……………………!!

145.
Enpou: I…thank you, Raiden……I’m…proud to draw a curtain to my long life of fighting by mi…mixing fists with a man li…like you………!!
Momotarou: Sanmenken Raiden, he’s that sort of man……………!! We can always be taught many things by him!!

TN: I think the moral of this chapter is for the most part sadly character progress for Raiden after what happened against Henshouki...and it is sort of a sad lesson in a fight: you can never take anything your opponent says seriously and must go through to the end. This has nothing to do with having the best of fights, this had mostly to do with psychological and emotional matters that could have ruined the match for one, if not both of them. While it is powerful to see that the monkeys survived, who could have said that Enpou would have been as merciful as he claimed if Raiden told him sooner. He could have used that opening to his advantage to attack or ordered the monkeys to do a suicide maneuver. Maybe he could have just surrendered...but unfortunately it was something Raiden couldn't chance and he had to win the match before making the revelation. It is sad to see Enpou go like this just when he found out the monkey trio lived...but at least he died peacefully, which is probably what Raiden does best. (well sort of considering this is really the first opponent Raiden has ever defeated if you remember his other matches involved him getting destroyed by J and tricked by Henshouki) But as amazing as this fight was, there still is the matter of the last Sanpousei Ryuuhou...let alone the High Priest of Gandhara!
