TN: One of the biggest problems I've noticed with some people when trying to understand Otokojuku's appeal, particularly later on in the Daibukai arc, is that it is a serious martial arts series...but still keeps its bent on parody and mocking the conventions as well as itself. The best way to point that out would be to look at this chapter, where we not only have a fun Togashi/Toramaru team-up sling-shot attack...but we even have a moment where Toramaru is trying to remember the "extremely long and complex name written in kanji that kind-of explains what the technique is". These techniques most of the fighters use are destructive and creative...but aren't supposed to be taken seriously because...well, they're anything and everything that Miyashita thinks up for the moment, yet can creatively lead to whatever effect that is thought up! And not only do we get a memorable slingshot attack from those two but the cliffhanger...has them getting hurt...while essentially playing jump-rope with the bad guys! Now let me ask again: why are people trying to take this so seriously? We know a lot of the fights have similar results, just go with the flow and watch as the madness occurs!
