Sakigake!! Otoko Juku 162
Kokuu Masoujutsu!!
-> RTS Page for Sakigake!! Otoko Juku 162
With a bit of elbow grease, Date has cleared away the soapy residue of Seti, the first of the Twin Sphinxes! But the Otokojuku fighter knows that the real threat comes from his partner...and may just be flying down about now!
Chp. 162: Kokuu Masoujutsu!!
47.
Toramaru: He…did it---!! As…expected of Date: he reversed his opponent’s technique and admirably defeated the soap-bubble guy---!
Togashi: Now quickly return back~~~!! The fire on the rope has reached it’s limit already---!
Toramaru: Bu…but, what will he do to come back in this situation……………!?
Togashi: Y…you idiot, that’s Date. I’m sure he’ll think of some skillful way, even without unnecessary worry!! Right, Date---!
Date: I don’t know either. If you have some good idea, tell me.
Togashi: Wh…what~~~!!
48.-49.
Date: !!
Togashi: Wh…what’s that---!!
Toramaru: A…guy is riding on hu…huge wings and…is attacking aiming for Date---!!
50.
Date: Nuu!!
51.
Toramaru: A…as is, he’s nose-diving and plans to strike the battlefield---!!
52.
Toramaru: How…skilled: he jumped off and landed on the ground on the verge of crashing~~~!!
Togashi: E…even so, wh…what is this guy doing with this pretence---!!
53.
“Right Arm”: How was your trip through the sky!?
Horus: My name is Horus, Right Arm of the Twin Sphinxes!! Horus is the bird-man god who flies about the sky with these wings…
(TN: As mentioned prior, “Horus” is the god of the sky…though it’s weird he’s referred to by two members of Pharaoh Sphinx, even if he is one of the most Egyptian gods)
Date: Don’t be funny……………where is there a bird-man god who flies riding a hang-glider?
Horus: Fu………Hang-glider, I don’t know that word. How about looking closer once more!?
Date: !?
54.-55.
Date: Nu!!
Horus: NOW LOOK AT THIS: THE SECRET HANDED DOWN BY P – S: KOKUU MASOUJUTSU!!
(TN: First…yeah, I know I should say “The Ougi handed down” but it doesn’t sound like proper English so I translated it here. Second: “Kokuu Masoujutsu” = “Black-Bird Demonic-Manipulation Technique”)
56.
Toramaru: Cr…crows---!!
Toramaru: Wh…what is this: Th..those nu…numberless crows are exhaustively covering above Date’s head---!!
Togashi: Th…those hang-glider wings were done as a gathering of those crows----!!
Horus: Humans hate crows: they’re ominous birds who bring death……………but for me, they’re such wise, faithful and excellent warriors.
57.
Horus: Go!! Black terror that control the sky!
Date: !?
Momotarou: What is that………!?
Raiden: Hmm, those crows have placed some long cloth-like thing in their beaks and are starting to rotate around Date.
58.
Date: Gu!!
Seti: N…no one has won against Horus. H…he is a…different character than me…Y…you’re go…going to hell with me………………
59.
Date: Y…you!!
Toramaru: Wh…what---!! Seti is still alive---!
Togashi: That’s…dirty: he nailed down Date’s leg to the ground with his dagger, making him not move around---!!
Horus: Fu, that’s unnecessary.
Horus: But you should be relieved, Seti: I absolutely will take on your foe.
Date: !?
60.
(Oh boy…mummification, that won’t end well)
61.
Togashi & Toramaru: Wh…what is this---!! The…crows are flocking and wrapping that cloth round and round Date’s body while rotating---!
Horus: Fu, you can get up somehow, but it’s impossible to cut through cloth that’s weaved with Inshou Hemp……A divine act or even the spearmanship you should have won’t be useful for you.
(TN: “Inshou Hemp” or “Inshouasa” = “Closing Respect Hemp”)
Horus: THIS IS KOKUU MASOUJUTSU OUGI: SIGH OF CHAMPOLLION!!
(TN: Two things:
“Champollion no Nageki” = “Sigh of Champollion”
Champollion is actually a reference to Egypt, but in a really strange way: Jean-Francois Champollion is a French scholar who, in the 19th century, deciphered the mystery of Egyptian hieroglyphs in the modern age)
62.
Horus: How is it? The feeling of being a mummy while alive? But then, you now can just crawl around from here to there like a caterpillar, not being able to even open your mouth.
(TN: “Imomushi”, as used here by Horus, is actually a “green caterpillar”, but I think it’s fine to use the generic word here)
Date: Ugugugu
Horus: This is already over, but that cloth is completely covered in oil. With a blow by this fire, you’ll be burned black and die.
Date: Gugguku—
Horus: How disgraceful with that ugly behavior……I thought you were a manly man who had bones, but you’re too good for life like this.
Date: Umuoo—
63.
Horus: Seti, I now clear your regrets.
Date: GUWAAA—
Toramaru: Da…Date~~!!
Togashi: Da…Date’s burning to death---¡!
Momotarou: Fu……
Togashi: Mo…Momo, is…something funny to you!!
Toramaru: Da…Date’s getting killed right now---!!
64.
Momotarou: Don’t you understand……his name is Date Omito, former head of Otokojuku First-Years and president of Kantou Gougakuren. He isn’t a man who doesn’t beg for life, even facing the devil in hell.
Toramaru: Huh……!?
Togashi: So…so then, the…one who is writhing and burning up now is………………….
“Voice”: Ugogogo—ugawao—
Seti: GUWAOO—
65.
Horus: Y…you’re……………!! Se…Seti.
Horus: !!
Date: What are you surprised about? You’re the one who let loose the fire.
Horus: …………!!
Date: Come!! I don’t have a principal of defeating a person who shows their back to me!
Horus: Hohhohho: I thank you. With that, Seti doesn’t need to be taken to a crematory.
TN: You have to admire Seti: he didn't die in the last chapter after being doused in acid and thrown off the arena he himself set up, but ended up at the end of Horus' mummification attack. Of course, once again I ask myself this question: how did it happen!? One moment Date is being surrounded by the wrapping cloth, the next it turns out to be Seti underneath! It's just a recurring problem I mentioned: it's great we see these escapes but sometimes they just seem to be becoming more unbelievable the more unbelievable the fights become! It's a consequence but you do want to know how Date was able to sneak away long enough for Seti to become the target of Horus' crows. Other than that...yeah, Date is right: hang-gliders didn't exist in ancient Egypt, crows or no crows.

Btw what does Sakigake mean? Otoko is man, juku is a school?
What mangas are you currently reading? Did you finish Kinnikuman? I really want to see the anime or read the manga... I saw this fight between Kinn Nisei and Rex-man (anime ver), it was cool, though at some moments it's really lame and one might wonder "Why is this guy doing nothing, he's letting the opponent beat the shit out of him!".
Sakigake, BTW = "Charge Forth!"
