F4, which translates as "The Flowery 4", are a group of four of the richest and most poweful male students at Eitoku Academy and are both the main rivals and love interests for Makino Tsukushi, who both tries to take down and falls for two of the members of this group. TN: I guess this weekend, particularly this chapter, has been revenge for how easy I've had it with Bo-bobo so far in Shinsetsu. I don't know if it's the dialogue being so wordy, so many references or the fact that Don Patch has decided to pack his gakuran with every silly thing he can, it just has been really long and I had to spend way longer than I usually do just to get through this chapter. Then again, there is a sense of accomplishment with some of what this chapter did, both with the weird toughs they were at the start (both the Morita-influenced ones or the weirder ones they infiltrated St. Spaghetti as) and the whole fight with Toudouin...which was less a fight and more a "rich-vs.-poor showdown" that somehow made me look up a shoujo...yes, a shoujo. (have bad memories of shoujo so that's why I avoid them, at least the manga versions) Heck, I don't even think I would have known about the Hana Yori Dango parody if it weren't for the Japanese Wiki...so it prepared me to find out all I needed for the Toudouin segment. But hey, there are still two more B3 members...and somehow they may have to face bread-head sooner than they think if Babuu has anything to say about it. (and...yeah, grown men shouldn't act like babies...then again little girls shouldn't act like old men)

BTW: Loved the cute scene where Beauty rejects Toudouin...at least she has sense.
