Toramaru: Those shots that had tumbled to the ground stopped and swung at his opponent with tremendous force by Gekkou’s one shot, aiming for Souketsu and attacking him---!!
Raiden: N…no: even the last Hiougi ended up failing. He didn’t come to present a fatal wound to Souketsu.
Souketsu: How disappointing.

Souketsu: It was a terrible technique……if it was natural, it would smash all the bones in the body, making me become like a jellyfish, but you now didn’t give force to the shot and were confused even in your aim, making me completely unhurt.
Souketsu: It’s entirely over here. As promised, I’ll deliver the finisher.
Souketsu: You already don’t have either the willpower or physical power to avoid this. You will take my ultimate secret, Kouin Chouhaisatsu, again and think of the honor of going to your death.

Gekkou: The…death will be yours; haven’t you realized it yet……that left arm that is screwing my neck was smashed by that blow earlier!!

TN: This chapter is sort of one of the main reasons why you have to love Otokojuku due to several factors coming into play simultaneously that really may or may not work in another shonen manga out there. The first: the fact that even though Gekkou took Souketsu's finisher, he not only was able to prevent it from killing him...but demanded to honorably finish the battle with his eight remaining shots. Considering that the match ended with either one or both dying, the fact that Gekkou wanted his turn with his eight "balls" probably wouldn't have been taken by another shonen manga series where they'd just finish him off or there's be some sort of catch. But here, Souketsu does it, allowing for Gekkou to set up for the final shot with the first seven balls! The second matter that Otokojuku just does so well that we see here (again) is just how the fighters (and likewise Miyashita) just thinks so far ahead with the strategy and set-up. Gekkou's ultimate intention was for Souketsu to take the death-blow of his own final arrow, thus not only did he intentionally allow for Souketsu to set up all of the shots, but coordinated the last one to smash the arm guard, therefore preventing it from getting in the way of the death arrow and allowing for Gekkou himself to jump out of the way with a looser grip. This series just continues to amaze me not just in it's originality but in just how well constructed all of these matches are, allowing for every little thing to affect how a match goes and how the battle can turn around from one direction to another. Though with Gekkou finally taking care of Souketsu (man, no more battle golf!), who knows what the next chapter will bring.
