Narrator: START OF THE NAGOYA ARC, WHICH WILL CALL A STORM

TN: Finally...after two volumes and a ton of complaining...Tennosuke re-enters the proper series! I won't really be saying too much as of yet about this moment (except that the Nagoya Brothers must be stupid to think some blue mass of tokoroten is Bo-bobo), but this moment will probably end up being both a godsend...and a curse for the direction that Shinsetsu heads. Yeah, I know Tennosuke was meant to return (well he was on the first color page of pt. 2 and he was just going to be stuck in omake-ville until he finally had Sawai give in...then again having him gone so long actually made me miss him) but keep this in mind: numbers can be a blessing...and a curse. Meanwhile...somehow it does seem a tad cheap that we would hype this "power" of Neo-Maruhage and have even Heppokomaru as the most powerful of the forces...just to say "well we had these six in planning and they're way more powerful than even Heppokomaru!" Yeah, I get the whole progressing movements of villainy in shonen, but to just use him and then throw him away just because of a bunch of Zenmetsugan pills just feels rather stupid, especially since:

1. Apparantly Babuu's been at it for a year (again I ask: WHY WASN'T HE WORKING FOR TSURULINA THE 4TH!? WHERE WAS HE DURING THE 4TH'S ERA!? WHY WOULD IT NOT BE UNTIL THE 3RD REBUILDS THE EMPIRE THAT BABUU WOULD APPEAR AND START THE ZENMETSUGAN PROJECT!?)
2. The mere fact that Heppokomaru took a whole period to train, become so powerful, become "Neo-A Block Leader"....and it was just to be a place-holder!?

I get the progression regarding block leaders before: we were set up and told that the Former Maruhage leaders were more powerful than their successors 100 years later and they were the only really notable replacements (since the other "block leaders" were all tied to other locations and places). It's just that the whole situation regarding the Neo-Maruhage progress is so screwed up that I just can't or don't understand it at all. All I know: the battle in Nagoya is finally starting and...we get to see Tennosuke do his best Bo-bobo impression (this won't end well) next time!
