(TN: “Useless length” was made by the combination of the Japanese term “Muyou no Choubutsu”; “Muyou” = “useless” or “futile”; “choubutsu” on the other hand is either a “useless thing” or merely “something long”; I was originally going to use “useless length” considering the stretched out length Rasetsu has to reach Sanen, but considering length is actually an asset for fighting that technique, I ended up merely just calling it “useless thing” since even with Rasetsu’s length, it isn’t enough to hit Sanen on the fan)

(TN: There is one little bit of language I had a bit of a hard time in working in English due to it being a matter in a change of tones of formality. When Toramaru first tries to approach Manjimaru and Senkuu, he uses the term “omae”, which is merely just a rude version of “you”…but then, he corrects himself by changing it to “anata tachi”, both improving the tone of formality going from the informal “omae” to the more formal “anata”, then added in “tachi” when referring to both of his conversation partners.)
Manjimaru: You two don’t understand…!! The true terror of the man called Rasetsu……………!!
Manjimaru: What occurs from here should peel you eyes from here and watch closely. At the ultimate Ougi of Kyou-ke Toushi Kiha………!!
Togashi: Huh…!?

TN: I have a nickname for this chapter: the chapter that took two days for me to translate. Without giving too much away, I did half of it yesterday before becoming unexpectedly busy...then finished it today! But in a way, it was sort of a fight that was worth the wait...considering that I have to admit this is probably Rasetsu's best fight...ever. Yes, that's what I'm saying: Rasetsu actually has a fight that probably has kept me interested and has yet to frustrate me with utter matters regarding length (the second half of his fight with Date) or seemed to be rather obvious before a cool finale (Gyuuhou of Gandhara). I guess my feelings are obvious: it isn't every day you see a guy dive underground with fingers, dig around and then smash up and attack an opponent like...well, really hard to say since it isn't really a mole or an antlion...and it isn't really a demon either. But again it was the strategy that made this chapter work as well as it does: attacking Sanen's fans to prevent him from retreating to the air is the only way for him to keep him on the ground...though it's hard to say if this will end the match or not considering he may have another tactic waiting for us.
