(TN: In case you were wondering, Pokomi's Shinken in Japanese is "Laburii Majikaru Shinken", which is easy to TL to "Lovely Magical Shinken". Secondly, Pokomi does use a lot of Japanese alliteration in her attack names, which include certain cutesy terms that really are tough to define like "Poppoko". I tried to find a translation for it but had a really hard time, but somehow my head just infers that it's an onomotopeia for "the sound of a hitting hammer"...I could probably change it into "Slam-Slam", but Pokomi is supposed to be cutesy so I keep it as "Poppoko" until I get a real/better translation)

TN: After not getting a script up in over two weeks (both thanks to vacation and work and such going on), it feels weird that Bo-bobo is the first series I return to my translation load with. (still have a couple other scripts that I did do but this is the first I can put up after a long time) However, in a way this is a special Bo-bobo chapter to me in a couple ways. First of all, there are only 50 actual Bo-bobo chapters left starting with this one, so in a way I'm finally entering the home stretch regarding this series. On the other hand...this chapter is probably one of the first "weekly" chapters that I ended up reading of Bo-bobo, so it just shocked me then just like it sort of shocked you now, particularly with how little I knew was going on at the time. (heck, it was shocking Heppokomaru had a little sister...let alone she was a Maruhage general and a magical girl) Overall, for the most part the chapter was just a load of fun, both in the shock of the sudden plot twist (I still don't get why the Nagoya Brothers were needed for the ruse considering they were just losers with Pokomi being the real power of the area) and all the insanity going on here. Pokomi is just one of those characters, though, who just seems from the word go to really work well with Bo-bobo's team, both in techniques and the comedy of her absurd magical powers and Beatuy-like freakouts. I really have no idea whether or not a girl like her was needed in this series but...well, she's cute, she works well and we'll leave it at that. On the other hand...while I did love the work of the Hajike trio in this chapter (Bo-bobo the boxer and Tennosuke's interrogation scene in particular...let alone Pokomi's "Brain Age Freakout"), it feels weird that Gaou, who was so vital in the Hajike bits for a while now...only had two jokes this time around. But...it's not going to get any better for the koala, I can tell you that.
