TN: Well...we've reached the end of the volume...and we've reached that moment. Let me say this: we'll be finding more out about Namerou's new state in the next volume and it will affect the rest of the series, but let me just state immediately: I can't stand it. I know of all the build-up and such, but Namerou was just dull before and just gets more annoying from here on. On the other hand, this chapter once again shows the classic Bo-bobo, in particular how destructive Don Patch is and how Bo-bobo and Tennosuke have become reduced to blundering idiots because of him. (well blundering...they were always idiots) It also sort of shows one of the major disadvantages of many villains: with so many fighters using Shinken as a fighting style and most non-Shinken attacks being rather worthless by this point, Zunou's sealing Shinken Suppression was a nearly perfect plan...except that Don Patch does not and will never use Shinken! (well he does have Shinken in fusion but it's Bo-bobo's body so that is the explanation I can give) His Hajike is just so awesome that we don't need a special Shinken for him...and sometimes he just needs his "moment" to show why he isn't just the silly comic relief. Strangely, though, I actually liked Zunou near the end and the remorse that he held regarding his position: he wanted to prove himself with his friends (mostly Mel I say with the other two just buddies) considering how impossible it is to get out of the Academy and with Tsurubinya (well aside Pokomi and Namerou...seriously, why the heck was he even in Ramen High when he was ready to be a boss while Pokomi was made a block leader?) being the only real role model he had with him being the key graduate he interacted with and with the whole situation at hand. For some reason, though, Zunou and his whole team probably feel like the first truly sympathetic villain of Shinsetsu (well villain as one who has no real connection like Pokomi and Heppokomaru) But unfortunately...we move from probably one of the best fights of this arc so far (rushed but still good) to...some big revelations next time! (not necessarily good, but important in the direction Shinsetsu heads next)
