(TN: Yeah, it sort of is common knowledget to many but to those who don't know, when a Saiyan achieves Super-Saiyan in "Dragon Ball", their hair changes color. Of course, Namerou's didn't change golden...actually in a later cover it is reveal that Namerou in this form has a leaf-green hair color)

Namerou: I AM THE DIRECT DESCENDANT OF TSURULINA THE 3RD AND THE NEO-MARUHAGE EMPIRE'S LEGITIMATE SUCCESSOR: "TSURU TSURULINA THE 5TH": YONONAKA NAMEROU

TN: Well...that explains a lot. It's still really "what the heck is going on" but at the same time it makes some sense...but not. I guess we'll just start with the first revelation about Namerou being the descendant of Tsurulina the 3rd...um...how? OK, I think I sort of get the whole path they wanted to proceed with: Tsurulina the 3rd has a family, it's evil, and from them evil things emerge...like Namerou. But let's step back for a moment. First of all: does anyone even know if/what exactly the 3rd was!? If you remember the final battle in the Former Maruhage arc, at one point the 3rd started turning into some sort of weird thing beneath his skin...and of course he kept ranting on and on about a "hatred for humans". I remember some circles at one point sort of commenting that maybe the 3rd was actually like a robot or a cyborg...but then, if he hates humans, then what exactly is he? And if he's not human, then...eww. (yeah, I could get if somehow he took a wife or something that would allow for "his blood" to eventually work it's way into humans over a couple generations or so but leave behind maybe something of his taint but there really isn't anything that suggests that...then again this is a series where torpedoes fall in love with humans wearing poop on their head) Second: if Tsurulina the 3rd has a family and descendants and it is so notable and powerful...then why didn't we know of them until now!? I mean, I get the element of surprise but wouldn't a group so powerful, even if not Namerou (who was hidden away...sort of but I'll get to that) be exposed and working somewhere somehow in the midst of the Maruhage conflict? Third: if the elders of this "family" was the one who sealed Namerou's power away, then would that mean that Tsurubinya (who is related to one of the elders of the family) be related to Namerou by blood? So then what is he: some distant cousin just jealous because he saw this kid's power as a baby being so uber and yet him similarity powerful (yet still weaker) in school? (yeah, still weaker than Pokomi but still...) And then there is this: is Tsurubinya just nuts thinking he could release Namerou's ultimate power like that without any consequence? This was a kid way more powerful than you in base form before any of your Zenmetsugan or Red Magic training...if you release that true power of his, you know you're going to be in for it. I get the whole release was out of jealousy and thinking that with everything pumped up to finally beat regular Namerou, but to use that power to release Namerou's true potential just proves he is a glutton for punishment. So basically...if the world ends, we all have Tsurubinya to thank, folks. (it probably was meant to happen anyway with all of Namerou's hints from the start but still...thanks to the series troubles, he sped up the timeline) Finally: so Tsurulina the 3rd now has a massive evil bloodline that makes a new evil every 100 years or so...so then, what exactly was the 4th and Hydrate's family, chopped liver? (It does though allow for my mind to think that somehow the last "Emperor tournament" was won by the 4th's family, whether or not they had the 3rd lineage, and thus the 4th was still born into it leading to all his problems...though one advantage with Namerou being the legit heir: they can wipe the whole "Hydrate is the 5th" crap out the history books considering all he did was come to the surface and get beat up by Bo-bobo, thus his reign was technically for a couple hours at least.)

Well along with all the other problems (like everything I mentioned before with the Elite Academy and Namerou and Pokomi's participation in such), we now have him as our next emperor...and Bo-bobo's new enemy. I did like a couple nods to continuity though (Namerou losing his scarecrow vision even though he's powerful enough to look down on everything and Pokomi...being Pokomi about her Namecchi) The next few chapters are going to be...well either exciting or a mess, depends on your POV. (but hey, we need to find a dumpster big enough for all that wasted merchandise)
