(TN: The last couple of panels have been in reference to the 1986 Sunsoft video game "Kanshakudama Nage Kantarou no Toukaidou Gojuusan Tsugi" [The 53-Stage of the Tokaido of Firecracker-Throwing Kantarou] for the Famicom [it was never released for the NES in the US]. In the game, you play a firecracker maker who must travel between Tokyo and Kyoto (by way of the Tokaido road, a notable road linking the two with 53 stages which travlelers rest at along the journey) to meet with his fiance and protect his fireworks from an evil merchant and his band of ninjas. Bo-bobo and Don Patch in the top panel were both representing the lead character Kantarou, while Gaou in the third panel is "Otani", a prostitute character whom slows down Kantarou's movements whenever he touches her on his journey)

TN: Yeah...Bo-bobo's new form does look cool. Honestly I do have a whole theory and concept regarding what this "new Bo-bobo" actually is...but I'll save it for next time when we fully see him in action. Otherwise...yeah, we get it: Namerou just keeps getting more powerful, more control and Bo-bobo and the others (even with Pokomi) can do nothing about it. Personally though I just don't get why they have to keep treating this battle so seriously compared to so many fights prior to this...I mean, even in the case with a mostly serious battle such as Bi-bibi, we had some really crazy stuff going on even in the midst of the battle. But here...the only crazy stuff was the Hajike attacks Bo-bobo does...and that's it. He was for the most part on "serious mode" the whole time and it just felt so OOC...yeah I know Bo-bobo spends times where he is serious but at least he has moments where he still acts crazy in the midst of it. Since the Namerou fight started...heck, since the Heppokomaru fight, he seems to just act crazy for attacks and feels so serious in his fights, which just doesn't feel right. My only other weird complaint: why the heck is Pokomi using her Zenmetsugan powers again? I guess it may have something to do with it being permanent because of her treatment by Babuu but...you'd expect that with it being evil and all it really shouldn't be used anymore since it's a Neo-Maruhage thing. But hey, one power-up at a time I guess...and we got Bo-bobo's new one next!
