Winter: you'd think that for someone like Yukime, this would be her perfect time of year. But even yukionna have little problems at this time...some of which may end up worse for everyone around them (in particular the teacher she loves...)

Yukime: My body is…in pain…even though a yukionna can power up in winter, this is abnormal…

(TN: Just like “youki” before, “youryoku” uses the “you” of “youkai” (which has a meaning of “attractive”, “bewitching” or “calamity” in conjunction with the “ryoku” which is Japanese for “power”)
SFX: Gugugu
Yukime: Right…although I was using my youryoku to make snow fall with all my strength when I was on the mountain…on the other hand I’ve been saving my youryoku since I can’t do that in a human town… (Haa haa)
Yukime: Aah…I can’t do it anymore…!!
SFX: Dowan

Nube: Yukime-kun.
Nube: ! Perhaps that child is your illegitimate child? What man is the father?

(TN: Nube merely says “Kono Yarou” which is “you guy”, but it works better as “you brat” with how Yukibe is sort of mocking all concepts of Nube’s existence)

Ritsuko: Where did this child come from? This child…ara, these eyebrows! (???)

Yukime: Wh…who is that woman…eh? Nueno-sensei’s sweetheart!?
Miki: Does it rain blood?
Yukime: Teacher, you’re so cruel…pushing me down in a 4.5 tatami room and telling me “Count the spots on the ceiling; this will be over while you do”… (It was my first time…)
(TN: The “4.5 tatami room” is a room that is essentially a square room that is the size of 4.5 tatami mats, usually equating into a 9ft. by 9ft. room)
Nube: Eeh!?
SFX: Wana wana

Yukime: Si…since when did this manga become Dragon Ball?
(TN: Aside from all the reckless super-powerful techniques [an ice Kamehameha], I think Yukime’s little comment may also have to do with Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball due to how Toriyama constantly seems to show the lower half of his kid characters, including the younger Son Goku and Son Gohan)

Yukime: My youki that swelled up when winter arrived swelled outwards and changed into an embodiment with that form.
Student: Uwa—the school—
Yukime: This is the first time I’ve had that experience. I’m certain this may be a reaction due to living in this town while saving up youryoku…
Nube:We…well, why does it look like me?

Yukime: I…isn’t it because I think only of Nueno-sensei?
Nube: At any rate, it will become terrible if we don’t stop that child!!

Nube: Whatever this is, it hasn’t finished it’s pranking yet!

Ishikawa: It’s a Yukiwarashi.
(TN: A little bit about “Yukiwarashi” is going to be told now, but essentially it translates into “snow child”, sort of like “yukinko”)
Kyouko: Yukiwarashi?
Ishikawa: A legend handed down in the northern countries, my old home.
Ishikawa: An adult yukionna came to lead a group of children when the snow fell every year and they played in the village. These children are yukiwarashi. They weren’t anyone’s children: they actually were masses of cold air created by the yukionna.

Ishikawa: A yukiwarashi is a mass of cold air created so the yukionna can make snow fall on the mountain.
Ishikawa: After playing with the yukiwarashi for a while, the yukionna sets it free to the mountain. Thus why the entire surface becomes entirely white on any mountain.

Nube: What, so then that seemed to be a physiological phenomenon for an adult yukionna!! Why—in spite of being a yukionna, didn’t you know that?
Kyouko: Well—well—it would be better to clear her charge.
Yukime: But, with this, I’m a fully adult yukionna. (Ufufu…)
Yukime: Now let’s make an actual child (heart) Huh (heart) Teacher…
Nube: Someday I’ll lose to temptation. That’s what scares me...

TN: Now this is what we call a madcap chapter! As crazy as Nube has been up to now, this chapter literally just completely and utterly lets loose with the insanity regarding the whole "Yukibe crisis" (and Nube's complete and utter denial of everything connecting him with Yukime in the process just to deny any connection to that thing) Strangely enough, though, as insane and crazy as the chapter was, everything just seemed to ultimately make sense in regards to how the tale is told and the set-ups that we end up getting leading to future events. First of all: the fact that Yukime didn't know anything about Yukiwarashi even though she's a yukionna both shows that even she doesn't know everything about her kind and that there are some things that probably she never learned due to her schism with the mountain god back home. Sure Yukibe may go to make snow for him, but ultimately that's due to the instinct of her power as opposed to her literally crawling back to that being. Secondly: the fact that the yukiwarashi ends up turning into a fusion of Yukime and Nube...well, it just shows Yukime's mentality: she's so obsessed with Nube that it just messes up her powers in strange ways making her create even creatures of aura similar to Nube. Third...yeah, they meet. With Yukime sticking around, it was guaranteed she and Ritsuko-sensei would eventually encounter each other. Obviously this was a horrible circumstance (considering it made both Yukime and Ritsuko-sensei nearly get driven away from him), but the damage is done now they know of the other. (next thing: hoping they never get affected by this) As for how Yukibe ended up finally leaving...personally I don't think it was spontaneous: it was at the exact moment when Yukime finally acknowledged that the thing had to go and that she didn't mind Nube killing him. Sure Nube couldn't do it at all, but it was when she cut the cord that it could complete it's mission and head forth to the mountain. Of course...even with all that, it was just a fun chapter, originally in color (heck the series had the cover and all color pages that week, my guess to introduce Yukime to the non-Nube readers) and just great seeing Nube at his weakest when...well, dealing with all matters of yukionna (and female) things.

BTW: stupid thought: If Yukibe is a Yukiwarashi, does this mean it could be represented as a Snorunt...meaning Yukime is a Froslass (which is supposed to be a yukionna) and Nube a Glalie (an oni)? Hmm....yeah, thinking too hard.
