(TN: I had to make a massive "change" regarding the name of the "final project" for which the 3rd is hyping here. In Japanese, the word used for the true name of the project is "Zetsumetsu", which is Japanese for "extinction". Personally I wish I could just call it the "Extinction Project" or even go back and call it the "E-Project", but considering that the "Z" is in reference to a word that begins with "Z" like "Zetsumetsu" (and it was called the "Z-Project" all this time prior to the revelation of what "Z" stood for), I ended up using the close approximation of "Zero")

(TN: Not sure if that's exactly what he says: Kamara uses "hitori noruma" here; while the "hitori" is "alone", I'm not sure what the "noruma" part was about. However, I somehow inferred that Kamara thinks he alone can take 100 Shinken users, I guess, but I probably am wrong)

TN: I had honestly prepared a whole lot that I wanted to say about this chapter, but strangely some of it gets cleared up a bit in the next chapter. I do have a couple massive nit-picks but for the most part it isn't something that some would say is important. Essentially, the whole idea of the 3rd declaring complete and utter war on all Shinken users is a frightening idea if you think about it. As we've seen, for the most part Shinken are the main means of fighting in this universe, with those mastering it becoming more powerful than those who don't. You can take something as strange and as bizarre as you want, make it a battle style "Shinken", and thus have a power...thus by targeting and attempting to drive extinct all Shinken users, you seem to knock away the main threat. (though it's weird that he didn't think of something like this before when he did his last world-conquering scheme 100 years ago...but they never really explained why they did go to cryogenic slumber) Then again, while you could see some legitimacy on the whole scenario as it stands, there are still a couple things that bug me:
-First: while I get targeting Shinken users...what about those without Shinken!? There are many dangerous battle styles that aren't Shinken and he's going to just let them go about their business? Heck, look at Don Patch: he never used a Shinken and has always been a purely Hajike-based fighter. (aside his Don Patch moments) While there would be a more minimal resistance, resistance will always exist as long as there's a means to fight against the empire. Heck...even Bo-bobo could continue to use Hajike: sure it may not be as powerful (I always have a theory his Hajike seems more powerful than it should be because it intermixes with his Hanage Shinken power), but it's still a means to keep fighting back!
-The second thing that bugs me is probably more minor but...why in the world is this so called "plot" so inconsistent? Heck, why is the Neo-Maruhage so inconsistent? I mean, first we have the 3rd doing a weirder, but more traditional concept of Hair Hunt...then we have the "True Leaders" (where only three were revealed: Pokomi, Tsurubinya and Porstroi) and the Elite Academy stuff...and now we have this IXEX and consolidation plot! Can't the 3rd just find one plot and stick with it? (though somehow I think that the Z(ero) Project was the big project all this time, but it had to end up being hurried up to now because...well, of Bo-bobo's ratings at this point.

Regardless of how messy and how interesting (or screwed up) the final plan is, we are underway in the final arc of the series...and we ended up meeting a lot of interesting characters this time around. Some of whom we'll be knowing more of soon enough, others we won't; some we'll love, others we'll regret and others...wait, was that a black-haired Bo-bobo? But of all of them, the most obviously peculiar even at this early stage is Hiiragi: something just seems very "off" about him, as if he feels like an enigma...but that's just a strange hunch.
