Momotarou: Fu, it…can’t be that Otokojuku’s Third Helper was the Principal……!!

Toramaru: Bu…but, why is the Principal not calling himself “I am the Principal of Otokojuku, Edajima Heihachi” like always!?
Togashi: Y…yeah: it seems like he has that outrageous appearance of an armored warrior and somehow hiding his true identity!!
Togashi: Right, the Principal is hiding his true identity. If by any chance Toudou Hyoue remembers Principal, then our plan of us taking victory in this tournament and attacking him during the awards ceremony will have come to nothing.
Toramaru: Ri…right, I understand…………!! Bu…but, is the Principal alright for fighting the next match!?
Togashi: At…any rate, he should already be quite old.
Edajima: Alright.
Toramaru: Right, there’s even a saying about “the cold water of the eldelry”---!!
(TN: The “saying” that Toramaru is stating is “Toshiyori no Hiyamizu”; while it literally translates as I stated in “the cold (drinking) water of the elderly”, the actual meaning of the saying is about the inappropriateness of the elderly to seek dangerous acts and actions, akin to them bathing in cold water that is suitable for drinking. [Since there is a cliché in Japanese culture about the elderly usually bathing in really warm water])
Togashi: L…look, he’s sitting down.
Voice: What are you jesting about………!!

(TN: Edajima uses an expression here of “hikarimono”, which has several meanings including “luminous body” or “any bright metal”, which probably refers to the weapon Jaki just pulled on him)
Edajima: So then, I’ll become serious for a bit.
Jaki: Se…serious……!! Y…you’re saying you’ve been playing until now……………!!
Edajima: So, you should come at me, Jaki!!

Jaki: I COULDN’T MOVE……………!! THE PRINCIPAL SEEMED UNBELIEVABLY GIGANTIC. DAIGOUIN JAKI, WHO HAD PRIDED IN BEING INVINCIBLE WITHOUT DEFEAT UNTIL NOW, WITH MY DRAWN SWORD RAISED OVERHEAD, COULDN’T EVEN MAKE A STEP.
Jaki: AND THEN, I WAS ENLIGHTENED. IT WAS TERROR, WHICH WAS BORN AND I HAD FELT FOR THE FIRST TIME!! I WAS FIGHTING THIS UNBELIEVABLE OPPONENT………………!!

Togashi: Awawawa: ju…just one blow…!!
Toramaru: He…didn’t even have leisure to say the Ougi’s name……!!
Hon: It seems I’ve happened across an opponent who is making my blood boil after a long time!!

TN: Yeah...I think that really should be enough to prove why you need to just let Edajima fight. Considering that we haven't seen him do much outside a few silly moments in vol. 1 (the invasion of the college campus, the "bald head marking incident"), we did know he was strong but...to literally pull the "massive giant" that Jaki himself did to Momo and Togashi on Jaki himself...that was just insane. It's honestly the first time we've ever seen Jaki so small and insignificant...but then again it's Edajima, the man who literally controls everything and who is the true mastermind of Otokojuku. Oh and...obviously this has to be the greatest Otokojuku massacre in a long time...it felt like one of J's fights (well the ones where he destroys fodder) in how simple and destructive it is! But...hopefully we get Hon to show him a real showdown next time!
