-> RTS Page for Sakigake!! Otoko Juku 241
After a tragic, past-revealing climax, Date has emerged victor in the first Daibukai final match. But the second member of the final team isn't so merciful...but then again, neither is the leader of Otokojuku's Third-Years!
Vol. 27: Fellow Travelers to Hell!!
Chp. 241: The Horse-Drawn Tank Man!!
7.
Announcer: THIS IS VICTORY FOR OTOKOJUKU’S SIDE IN THIS FIRST MATCH OF THE TENCHOU GORIN DAIBUKAI FINALS!! NOW, PLAYER DATE OMITO IS GOING TO WITHDRAW TO HIS CAMP!!
Toramaru: I…I didn’t know; that Date w…would have that past……………!!
Momotarou: …………!!
Toudou: Fu: that fool Shiran…………!! Committing such an upset.
Toudou: But the next man is different!! Spartacus!! That man is the strongest man; a fighting god who has descended to this world………!
8.
(Title page…5 years of Otokojuku…and surprisingly so few Jaki fights)
9.
Toramaru: Da…Date…………!! Y…you…………!
Momotarou: Don’t ask him anything, Toramaru.
Toramaru: Mo…Momo……!!
Momotarou: He is someone who had a past he doesn’t want to speak about to anyone……………!! This is gently, but come to have the best sympathies towards him now.
Toramaru: E…even so, think about it: that Shiran is a pitiful man too.
Togashi: Ooh: that baboon-oldie Toudou: it isn’t human to buy up orphans with money and then build them into murdering fist-warriors who devote their loyalty to you-----!!
Voice: I’M GOING NEXT!!
10.
Togashi & Toramaru: HE…HEAD OF OTOKOJUKU THIRD-YEARS DAIGOUIN JAKI---!!
Toramaru: A…ATTENTION---!!
Jaki: Tsurugi……!! You should accept this.
Momotarou: !? That’s………!?
11.
Jaki: Within there is placed the proof as a representative successor handed down for generations at Otokojuku!! I entrust this to you until the end of this battle!!
Jaki: Understand this meaning…………!!
Momotarou: Wh…what are you saying…………!!
Jaki: I’ve asked you.
Toramaru: Wahahahaha: wh…what’s that: that isn’t like him at all!!
Togashi: Ri…right: that great man, who has been called “Emperor of Otokojuku”, losing wouldn’t happen by any chance!!
12.
Announcer: NOW HERE COMES THE FIGHTER OF THE 2ND MATCH FROM THE OTOKOJUKU-SIDE!! IT’S DAIGOUIN JAKI!!
Announcer: WELL THEN, AND THE MEIOU ISLAND 16-WARRIORS-SIDE!?
Spartacus: You should see that I am different from Shiran!!
Gouki: Right: that’s a thing I want to request of you.
Spartacus: Ha---!!
13.
Jaki: !!
14.
Announcer: SPARTACUS!! THE 2ND FIGHTER FOR THE MEIOU ISLAND-SIDE IS SPARTACUS! HE’S ENTERED RIDING A HORSE-DRAWN TANK THAT CORRECTLY CLOSELY RESEMBLES SPARTACUS, THE HERO OF THE AGE OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE!!
(TN: Considering what most people probably see or know of him is from the movies or TV, a bit on the real Spartacus: living between 109 to 71BC, he was the leader of an army of slaves during the Third Servile War, a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic. [Not the Empire as mentioned here] Born of Thracian descent (a group of people who lived around Bulgaria or northern Greece), he was sold into slavery, made a gladiator, and ultimately escaped and built up an army that defeated legions of Roman soldiers before the force was crushed by a combination of soldiers sieging from multiple sides, including those lead by the notable nobleman Crassus. While the uprising was crushed and the slaves either killed on the battlefield or crucified on the way back, Spartacus’ body was never found)
Spartacus: You’re quite skilled……………!! My blood is excited when I meet a man like you.
Jaki: You should come.
Spartacus: Before then, let me show you an interesting thing.
15.
Jaki: ………!!
Toramaru: Wh…what is…is…is that~~~!!
Togashi: A…bull---!! A…huge raging bull---!
16.
(Um…moo?)
17.
Spartacus: This bull is a murdering bull that has been used for bull-fighting and has killed 15 humans until now.
Spartacus: To anger it, you do this sort of thing!!
Bull: !!
Bull: MOGOOO---!!
18.
Toramaru: Wh…what---!!
Togashi: Wh…what is he thinking? That guy Spartacus!! He…he’s planning to somehow avoid the charge of that raging bull---!
Spartacus: You should see this!!
19.
Spartacus: MEIOUTOU OUGI: RED WHIP GENOCIDE!!
(TN: The attack Spartacus uses is actually in English with kanji, just like the Olympus fighters had. BTW: The literal kanji translation is “Red-Whip Murder”)
Bull: !!
Spartacus: NUN!!
20.
Bull: MOGO!!
Togashi: Uoo, wh…what exactly is that---!!
Toramaru: Th…that raging bull was…was cut up like it was a ham---!!
21.
Spartacus: THAT IS THE POWER OF RED WHIP GENOCIDE!! YOUR BODY HAS A DESTINY OF COMING TO THAT.
Commentary:
Red Whip Genocide…a weapon used for punishing slaves in the era of Imperial Rome. The characteristic of the whip is the preparation of placing sharp blades in intervals and at a point where it can’t be twisted, but can be moved freely. The name “Red Whip” has origin with the hide portions always dyed in the color of human blood.

Possessed at the Museum of the Rajaniano People
(TN: There is no “Rajaniano” people, seeing it’s another “weird Otokojuku group”, but I tried to Italian-ize the Japanese version of “Razanyaano” and this was as close as I could get. If you can make it more Italian/Roman, do so)
Jaki: Do you just have one bull……!?
Spartacus: !!
Jaki: Don’t you have others………!?
Spartacus: Interesting…………!! You are going to challenge it too? But you will come to regret this.
22.
Jaki: !!
Bull: MOGUOO---!!
23.
Toramaru: Wh…what is th…that bull---!! It’s…it’s a further step bigger than even the previous bull; as…as if it’s an elephant---!
Togashi: Th…that’s dirty; ha…having that---!!
Spartacus: You should regret this. Incidentally, that bull has killed 50 people.
Jaki: Excellent!!
24.
Jaki: I had wanted to press him without showing my skill if it came to that, but with this, I have no choice!!
Jaki: TAKE THIS!!
25.
Jaki: DAIGOUIN-RYUU OUGI: SHINKUU SENPUUSHOU!!
(TN: Reminder: “Daigouin-ryuu: Shinkuu Senpuushou” = “Great Overpowering School-Style: Vacuum Massacre Wind Thrust”)
26.
Spartacus: WHAT!!
27.
“Bull”: So…somehow it’s strangely cool………!!
Toramaru: Awawawawa; what exactly was that…………!!
Togashi: It’s…it’s as if it’s running without knowing the skin is ripped off it’s own body, like a snapper prepared lifelike………!!
(TN: “snapper prepared lifelike” has a key in the word “Ikidzukuri”, a style of food preparation where an animal, usually a fish, is cut up and then presented exactly like how it’s found in nature even if it isn’t)
Jaki: Well, you should come, Spartacus. Your body has a destiny of becoming like that!!
TN: Now that...was gross...and hilarious at the same time. Jaki literally forcing a bull to run around without nothing but a skeleton for several seconds before collapsing was just weird but cool in an Otokojuku kind of way. But of course, considering this is the guy who can create pulses of wind that rip apart everything in their path, the bull surviving for that long a time was weird regardless. Strangely, while the bull scene was hilarious and morbid, it sort of also showed a bit of a weird weakness in the storytelling: why the heck would Spartacus need to keep two bulls of similar destructive and anger power around in the stadium? I get Spartacus wanting to bring one in: it demonstrates the power of his body-ripping whip and it makes him look good. But the whole reason behind bull #2 was merely to just show Jaki was just as if not more merciless. Heck, we knew Jaki is merciless considering all of his previous fights, so it's not like something we need reminded. (sure I get it: it's all for the audience show but...) It was a great chapter and was great at introducing Spartacus (and reminding us why Jaki controls this school) but that whole aspect of the second bull being kept there so easily just threw me off.
