Don Patch: So that guy is a Hajikelist----
Translator's Note: Alright, let me ask this question: what do you think of when you see the word "Dororo"? In actuality, the word brings up two notable things: a classic manga/anime by manga god Osamu Tezuka...and a certain forgotten frog-alien ninja. I bring this up due to the occasional difficulty when a word can get mistranslated so simply. When Dengaku Man mentioned "tororo" (which is just as hard to understand), I accidentally thought it meant "dororo" and tried my hardest to figure out "what sort of food is that"! But after a long while searching and just about to giving up, I end up finding it was a mistranslation...and I start hitting my head in looking for what is essentially a grated potato-like vegetable. Trust me, I felt like an idiot after that all happened. On chapter matters...well, one thing that impressed me was how much Dengaku Man actually did considering his "non-usage" later. He was violent, he was bizarre, he was a pinnacle of Hajike! So...why doesn't he fight more? Well, if you think about it, its rather simple: Hajike is all he has. Compared to the main fighters, who have fists and abilities that are connected alongside with their Hajike, Dengaku Man is just Hajike...no wonder the little guy just stayed a mascot. But at least the next two chapters (alongside this one) show him at his best!
