Translator's Note: A really good tip regarding the end of this chapter: never trust any silhouette, normal or otherwise, that Sawai throws out as representation of the enemy. While we all know how crazy the enemies in this series are, silhouettes merely end up causing more grief, making one wonder what the heck he was thinking before revealing the true opponent. Heck, even Gunkan's Ninshu made more sense with their cloaks and masks prior to battle, even if some of them really shouldn't be in them. (such as...a stick of gum...snickers) But with silhouettes, you're either going to be dissapointed or frustrated...and since Sawai does use it quite a bit from here, just be prepared for them. Another comment about this chapter: even if Don Patch's recital is complete and utter gibberish, I couldn't help but imagine the first notes of Beethoven's 5th after I found out that was his "destiny symphony". It most likely isn't what Don Patch was playing...but it did pop into my head. Oh, and one more thing: considering Tsuide ni Tonchinkan lasted over four years at least...you would expect more people than Sawai to remember it...somehow I doubt Shueisha does but its great Sawai did.
