(Translator’s Note: This actually has a few things going on so sit back. First of all, Tennosuke has transformed into the outfit of a priest, usually used in Japan for various matters such as exorcisms. Secondly, the kanji that Tennosuke is stating is “Katsu”, which actually translates as “Scold” and usually yelled out by exorcists when they attack and expel ghosts or demons. And finally, all the creatures Tennosuke are fighting is another Japanese hiragana: “Ne”. Due to both its closeness in the Japanese alphabet to “Nu” (remember the structure of all characters go as “A-I-U-E-O”, meaning that “Ne” comes right after “Nu”) and the slight similarity in formation (both characters have a curved top and the little right-hand loop at the end), “ne” is a natural “enemy” for a “nu” addict like Tennosuke)

Translator's Note: I know I didn't mean to be blunt about Tennosuke's sutra but those things are very difficult to figure out on your own since usually a lot of kanji are used in conjunction. I know there are some standard sutras out there but I really didn't want to spend time research it or even just taking it apart kanji by kanji to make sure it made some sort of logical sense. Meanwhile, I kept thinking the Don Patch/Bo-bobo team-up was some obscure Akuma Choujin reference...but it was just in their style since they never really had any attack like that in Kinnikuman! Anyway, hopefully we'll restock on cookies (not too expensive) before the next chapter comes around...
