Translator's Note: Alright, question time: didn't that first chapter of the Giga fight seem...familiar? It's sort of something you may or may not have picked up but think about it: a villain who uses a tricky means to stop the heroes from hitting them and showing their true power...yep, Giga's Objet replacement in this chapter is exactly like Halekulani's Money Field! Though there are some differences (Giga having his girls around, Torpedo Girl), this is just one of several things that seem very familiar between the Halekulani fight and the Giga fight...Sawai does know what he's doing by this point but he is still occasionally stuck with what he remembered and what worked last time. While there are memorable moments in the Giga battle, I just see a lot of it reminding me of Halekulani whenever I get to this point...so bare with me as we get through this. On the other hand, there is another important significance about this chapter: as you saw by the three-pages in color, they were hyping something...the something being the announcement of the Bo-bobo anime by Toei that started November, 2003! Yep, it was a great period to be a fan of Hajike...
