TN: Well...that final attack regarding the human life...was weird. Somehow it wasn't as hilariously brilliant as the "planets" attack against Torpedo Girl/OVER or the "manliness" attack against Giga, but it was still able to get the job done. (especially the final attack with a bunch of...non-humans...helping crush the 3rd) I think probably the biggest problem with this chapter is that a lot of it felt more like a tacked on ending after the much stronger climax of the previous chapter, where the 3rd took in the Hair Ball, turned into that....thing, had Bo-bobo and Don Patch escape him...and oh yeah, Tennosuke and OVER fought a lot. (speaking of which, OVER was nowhere to be found in this chapter...at least I got the epilogue in but that more or less filled in a major blank about...well, you'll see next chapter) Though in regards to this chapter, there is one massively nagging question that keeps coming up in my head throughout this fight and particularly in this chapter: what exactly is Tsurulina the 3rd anyway? It's understandable the part about "He hates humans cause they're supposed to be subservient to an emperor", but that's all they give. Furthermore, they have that scene in the last chapter where his "shell" seems to be falling apart and he yells about "returning to his true form" after taking in the Hair Ball (with all the extras) but they never say what exactly that "true form" is. And the worst part: I don't know if we'll ever know! Maybe we can try to ask Sawai but he'd probably laugh at us and say it was just a big gag and the 3rd's hatred of humans was more due to being an emperor but who knows if that's really enough to satisfy anyone interested. I guess that's just one of those weird unsolved mysteries of this weird, wild world.

Meanwhile, all I really can say is that I'm happy that the Former Maruhage arc is finally over. If you were keeping track, you'd know that this last arc lasted 37 chapters and is essentially "the" longest continuous arc in the series...that's everything from the first encounter with those Former Hair Hunters to the final battle with Tsurulina. It took a lot out of me and had a lot of insane and classic moments throughout it. But now it's time to move on...and trust me, what we're going to next is both big and important. Starting in the next chapter is possibly the arc many Bo-bobo fans in English have been waiting for: it's going to start off with some familiar stuff but once we get to "that point"...it's finally all new, never before translated, never animated Bo-bobo! The countdown to that moment begins next time with the first chapter of the new arc where...well, I don't want to give it away for those who don't know what the next arc is but be prepared to see many, many familiar faces return...
