(TN: Well this actually sort of explains the pun regarding Don Patch's pin as well as the pun of the whole bit. Don Patch thought he was practicing for a "temporary license", which in Japanese is "Karimen". But instead, he was doing that weird Spanish dancing because he mistook it for "Karumen", which is the Japanese way of saying "Carmen", as in the opera by Georges Bizet. The pin he had in Japanese was "Karimenchuu", which would be "in the midst of Temporarly License Practice", but of course is mistaken by him as "In the midst of Carmen")

TN: Welcome, my friends, to the arc quite a few of you have been waiting for. I can't say the true name of the arc just yet but for the moment, let's just call it the "Maruhage Tournament" arc. Yeah, in a weird series like Bo-bobo, you sort of either expected a tournament to occur considering how similar or much it parodies other shonens...or you probably were hoping they wouldn't and it would be one shonen cliche left undone. But of course, we had to sneak it in somehow and thus one begins. The chapter itself felt like a nice breath of fresh air with another "random Hajike moment" at the beginning after all of the pressure from the entire Tsurulina fight and practically everything before it in Former Maruhage, but of course when Kuunyan and that mole showed up, that's when the big stuff started to appear. In particular, all those cameoes...yep, a lot of classic Bo-bobo characters will be reappearing in this arc (we saw many in this chapter, including OVER after sort of being forgotten last time outside that omake written afterwards), but we still got a few other characters who will be filling out the ranks that we've seen, as well as new opponents, new challenges and of course....HIM! Yep, that creepy guy who already wants to be Tsurulina the 5th could have an impact on this arc but of course we really don't know yet what that is! But of course, Sawai has probably made us look twice with another set of weird silhouettes of potential enemies...they may actually be followers or members of his groups...but he's deceiving you once again. If you've seen the anime, those silhouettes were replaced by several others you may know of...but for the moment, they're probably just "his" followers. But for the time being, we've got a tournament, the winner becomes the next emperor and Tsurulina the 4th...is awfully happy that it's happening! (mostly cause he has plans of his own) And it starts in earnest...next time!
