TN: Yeah...we'll talk more about Sambaman next time. (even though you can obviously tell that it is a slight deviation or ripoff of the whole OVER/Torpedo Girl dynamic from the few panels we've seen of him...without the gender change). As for the chapter, somehow I always thought until now that the "yamanba" that Bo-bobo and the others were yelling about was actually the ganguro style...without realizing they got that from the yokai which is the real comment of what "he" is with that TF. (well what they think he is) I was so used to the other "yamanba" that I guess I didn't really see it coming. Meanwhile, after a long period where he's done nothing outside "nu" jokes and getting beaten up by everyone and everything, Tennosuke finally reminds us in this chapter that he's formidable as well. Why else would he have been a block leader if he couldn't put Katsu in his place? (well we love him more for the other stuff but remember Tennosuke's power...that will return big time in the near future) Oh, and why didn't Sawai go with the obvious Earthbound reference with the "Gutsy Bat"? That would have been so cool! (sorry, Earthbound fan) The conclusion of the battle is next time...and don't forget your drink coupon at the end of this scan!
