Finally, both “Nikuniku” aliens are a bit of a multiple puns. For starters, “Nikuniku” is connected to the word “nikunikushi”, which is Japanese for “hateful” or “loathsome”. Then of course is the “niku” that is connected to “kinniku”, which of course is “muscle”. And even further is the generic usage of “niku” for “meat”, which will further be explained a bit later)

TN: There's just too much going on in this chapter outside all the insanity in itself, so I'm just going to laundry list them this time around:
1. LOVE is probably one of the most interesting villainesses we've seen...but somehow I still wonder about why she's the most powerful of the Under Maruhage Heavenly Kings when her Yamiken involves wooing the opposite sex? Maybe if she went bisexual she'd be unstoppable! (but then it wouldn't be "oiroke")
2. I still think Zetsubou became a Hulk/Splatterhouse fusion...but don't look at me.
2. You have to love how Bo-bobo subverts "muscle gas" into "Kinniku gas"...and how similar Robin Mask and Akuma Shogun look.
3. Tennosuke's ineffectiveness in many things never fails to amuse me...besides, all that happened to him was he grew eyebrows!
4. I'm still a bit lost on the whole Dengaku Man/OVER scene...did Hatenko really choose Dengaku Man...or was it LOVE? You would think it was Hatenko considering LOVE gave him choice...but why Dengaku Man?
5. OVER already sort of had muscles so...yeah, the gorilla bit is too true.
6. LOVE really should have gotten to make the "romantic scene" between her and OVER...before Don Patch and Hatenko got involved.
7. It's official with this chapter: Hatenko is neither hetero or homo...he's Don Patch-sexual. (well not like that but still...)
8. Why the heck is Beauty so scared about OVER becoming Torpedo Girl!? Didn't she even remember all that happened with Shibito...and Combat Blues? She really should know by now: Torpedo Girl is good for her...OVER is...well, grumpy.
9. You really need to wonder whether Tennosuke's provocation was on purpose or not...but think of it this way: back when they first fought OVER, he only had the power to activate one anger ball instantly...and now he can do five! My guess: everything from the 3rd fight on was building up and now he's releasing it.
10. It's somewhat strange about the OVER/Torpedo Girl situation, particularly if you look at the framing of this arc in comparison with the last. Think about this: Torpedo Girl probably wasn't going to be in the New Emperor tournament...but OVER, being a Heavenly King, was. Thus, having her change back into him in the last arc finale against Tsurulina the 3rd was convenient in a story standpoint. (that and it got a lot more interactions between him and Tennosuke which are never boring) Now, with OVER fighting a female villain trying to hit on him, he gains a sort-of immunity by becoming Torpedo Girl again! It's as if this is what Sawai was planning all along! And heck, look at the weirdness even further: if you take the "R" in OVER's name, moved it to the front and then changed it to an "L" like the usual confusion, it becomes LOVE! It's almost destiny...or just good plotting.

All in all, a fun chapter, a sexy villainess and...yeah, more torpedo tactics next time!
