(TN: A few things:
1. First of all, I had a hard time translating the first kanji combination because of how dark the box was combined with the kanji being written as it was. Therefore I doubt that it realyl is "Byouki", but I tried to make it work as best as I could.
2. Donbei refers to "Donbei udon", a type of instant udon that is considered one of the most popular brands of instant noddle snacks in Japan.
3. The two people that Nube "becomes" in the following panels are actually not just random people but two members of the cast of the long running manga/anime "Sazae-san" originally created by Machiko Hasegawa. Nube becomes Sazae herself in the second panel, while in the previous panel he becomes Masuo, her husband.)

(TN: We're going to go a bit further into these "complexes" of relationships a bit later, but for now for those who don't know: "shotacon", which is short for "Shotarou Complex", is a complex where someone, whether male or female, has a thing for young boys. The name of the term comes from the lead character of "Tetsujin-28" (Gigantor), a young male whose ingenuity and "cuteness" ended up making people connect him with anyone he was with in the series...well aside from being the boy who controls the title giant robot)
Nube: No...this is completely irregular, to have a heart-throbbing like this. Do I maybe have a Siscon...?
(TN: Another, lesser known complex is "Siscon" or "Sister Complex", which is a complex where one ends up having sexual urges towards a sister...then again it's weird that Yukime would "love" Nube like a lover, yet Nube would imagine Yukime here more like a sister)

(Useless) SUPPLEMENTAL EXPLANATION
#41: Complexes

In the chapter, there was a scene where Yukime worried "Am I not a shotacon?" A great majority of readers thought of the question "what is a shotacon?" According to opinion, "Shota" is said to be of "Kaneda Shotarou", the lead character of "Tetsujin-28". In brief, "shotacon" is a word that speaks of having a disposition of favoring cute boys, as a coined word made among anime and manga fans. (By the way: "Siscon" is to have a disposition of yearning for older misses.)

So then, speaking of what the meaning of "con" is, it is an abbreviation for "complex".

"Complex" is a word created by Jung; originally it was the terminology of psychoanalysis, but has been come to be used regularly. If I were to explain it in a single word, it would come to be "an element of the Ego that is separated by the restraint of the consciousness", but the point is it's a thing that controls behavior and emotions of a person within the unconsciousness. A well known one is the "Mother Complex" (abbreviated "Mazacon"), a word for being an immature male mentally who only forever depends on their mother. It's alias is as the "Oedipus Complex". Oedipus is a man who married his own mother as the lead character of a Greek tragedy.

Also, the "Lolita Complex" (abbreviated "Lolicon") is also famous. With etymology of "Lolita", the Nabokov novel, the lead character of the novel posssess interest only in girls from 8 to 12...

They're relatively special examples, but complexes are essentially things that are possessed by anyone; it's good to say that there doesn't exist a person who doesn't possess a complex.

Which complex do you possess?
(TN: A few things:
1. Carl Jung is a Swiss psychoanalyst who is the most notable for discovering the nature of man, the first to truly analyze dreams and studied their meanings and their effects on the human subconscious. He developed the concept of the "complex" when working under Sigmund Freud, seeing it as a common "theme" that exists within the unconscious and posibly as well in the conscious and the mid-conscious between the conscious and the unconscious.
2. "Oedipus", though mostly notable as a king of Thebes of myth and lore, is most famous due to various dramas written about his tragic fall tied to his horrible prophecy of becoming the king of his land by killing his father and marrying his mother and having children with her, the most famous being written by Sophocles in 429 BC.
3. "Lolita" is a famous/infamous 1957 novel written by Vladimir Nabokov about the unreliable narrator Humbert Humbert, speaking a tale (most likely to the angels of heaven after his death) of his lustful pursuing of Dolores Haze, the 12-year old female of the tale whose nickname became part of the "lolicon" concept)

TN: And to think this whole hell started because Nube wanted some udon...well, if he probably just found another way to do it (and wasn't so cheap), maybe the chapter wouldn't have occurred...but what can you say: when it's cheap and it lasts, you find ways to get it. With that said about Nube's possibly poor culinary choices, this was a peculiar and interesting chapter in sort of bringing a couple new wrinkles in the connection between Nube and Yukime by way of Nube's Youshin form. Luckily Yukime didn't know it was Nube but, unlike Tamamo (who figured it out immediately), it seemed like she just didn't care but had this weird "Nube instinct" regardless. It just feels weird but interesting that Yukime didn't realize it was Nube, didn't want to try and figure him out as Nube, yet somehow felt through some way or another it was Nube even if it was just a Youshin version of him. Though while Yukime obviously had her shotacon problems, the factor of Nube's siscon was also somewhat a peculiar factor: while he's used to seeing Yukime as younger than him, him being the young one sort of makes her feel like a big sister than a mother or a lover. Now one really shouldn't fall in love with their sister...and somehow Nube didn't but Yukime...well, as I said: her Nube senses were tingling even if she didn't realize it. The chapter did a nice job bringing up weird concepts of people's relationships with their mind without getting too disturbing...well outside Yukime's shower scene but you have to just keep thinking "she was his sister" and not...well, think in Nube's POV and not Yukime's and maybe it wouldn't feel as wrong.

BTW: the fact that Tamamo figured out the Youshin power of Nube's...remember that for the future.
