(TN: Izuna's introduction here was just a neat little play on words, playing off the Japanese word "rei". The beginning part used the obvious spirit words of "Shugorei" and "Jibakurei"; she then goes "Kiritsu - Rei", with the "Kiritsu" being "standing up" as in "standing up to spirits". And then at the last part, she ends it by saying "Kane Kurei", which is obviously "give me money", but finishes Izuna's little "rei" joke nicely. I tried to make it work in English, but not sure if I did too well)

Nube: I think it was given to me by a teacher on maternity leave.
Kyouko: It seems he hasn't regained his footing because he's still in shock.

(TN: Weirdly Nube doesn't refer to it as a rattle but as a "garagara", which is an onomotopeia for "rattling", but obviously he has a rattler in his hand)

Nube: A Boze is the soul of a baby before it is born. In tradition, it was said that when a married woman was walking on a street at night, it flew and entered into her womb. It was unknown if this was a thing that was created by god or where it came from, but, at any rate, it was an original soul that was born to a human.
Nube: Perhaps when you drove away the animal spirit, at that moment the Boze that was within her belly came out and entered into Izuna.

Izuna: Don't joke with me. This is like the Virgin Mary; it's some Virgin Pregnancy...am I 14 years old, first of all!? Get it out! Quickly send it outside!
Nube: I can't. Boze is an extraordinarly weak spirit. There is also a youkai called Bozegui that eats Boze in the atmosphere. Therefore, it can't immediately return to the original woman...

(TN: Well it's weird that this volume's character...is a character of one of the authors, in particular the writer Makura. There are others that could have been used but I guess they wanted to show off that they were characters in this series now after the last couple of volumes. I actally don't mind when author self-insert themselves in manga when they do it right, like Toriyama or Tezuka...though Makura really is more of a joke character than them so it's tough to really identify him as doing similar to those)

TN: Well I have to admit: that was a really tender, sweet chapter...well for Izuna at least. As weird as the subject was (with Izuna essentially being a teenage pregnancy) and with some really strange stuff near the end (the Boze's movement to other people), it was a nice, sweet chapter that shows that maybe even a trendy grump like Izuna has a heart somewhere inside of her...I don't quite know where it is, but it is inside of her somewhere regardless. Perhaps one could state she was watching out for the baby and was not doing things by her own will, but we see that she does change through the chapter from being upset by the pregnancy to taking it through until the baby's soul remerges with it's body. Nube did his part but somehow the early parts where he was cracking up at the thought of a pregnant Izuna was just hilarious, mostly because he would be shocked that someone like her would end up being filled like that. (then again I've seen girls that young get like that, maybe younger...but that's the job I do) Somehow I know a lot of fetish fans were probably eagerly waiting this chapter and probably aren't dissapointed...but I thought it was more sweet and not really part of some bizarre fetish love. (then again there were other chapters that were better for my type of interests...I get people who understand and care about pregnancies but sometimes it just gets weird in some of the fetishes people get into)
