TN: We're about to reach a strange crossroads now...and this chapter is living proof of it. On one hand, Bo-bobo's "farewell time" is a true comment on the status of this chapter: we only got one chapter left and the original "Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo" will be over. But on the other hand, with that dramatic and shocking move by Tsuru Tsurulina the 3rd (come on, Bi-bibi is just is getting over the battle...but then again some villains like to kick them when they're down), the countdown to pt. 2 is finally on! Somehow while Tsurulina the 3rd had his creepy moments in his arc, everything Bi-bibi's done has just drained me so much (he was just...that good as a boss) that to see him return once again as villain in the next series makes me wonder how he's going to top it! (the 3rd does try and there are a lot of elements to his master plan...but when Shinsetsu starts, we'll get into those) Meanwhile...I'm just trying to figure out the whole reason behind the "Ba-baba was in space" explanation Be-bebe pulled out here. On one hand, Hatenko did hype him up but...sure he probably may not have known everything either (he is Hatenko and probably is lost in thought on all things Oyabin if he was told before) but somehow I feel dissapointed that suddenly this is what was pulled out. How could Ba-baba not care about Bi-bibi's control after his talk with Bi-bibi at the start of the arc? Was he just giving his support from afar while thumbing his nose behind his back? Did Sawai have a plan for Ba-baba in the first place...or was this turnaround always planned? It just felt strange...sure we have an explanation but at the same time it doesn't seem sufficient enough. Maybe someone needs to talk and see if this was part of his gag or if he had more planned, whether in Hair Kingdom or Shinsetsu. But with those nitpicks out of the way, there were just too many memorable moments in this chapter, from Tennosuke's latest "sympathy speech" (which seems to mimic the one he did with Ruby...I think it was more directed to Vita and Min cause he's just that way with little girls) to Bo-bobo's "non-party...never mind" bit to, in perhaps the funniest gag in the chapter, Bu-bubu revealed she went to her own funeral the moment she came back to life! (all that work to save her and she goes to her own funeral? Yeah...Bu-bubu really is out there) After all the tension of the Bi-bibi fight (heck, the whole Hair Kingdom arc in general), it's great to have a wild, relaxing Hajike-enfused chapter as one last amazing hurrah! It's a bit of a shame that we really don't see any of the other Hair Siblings again after this (we get cameos near the end of Shinsetsu but that's it)...but the next chapter belongs to the leads. The finale of the first part is here and it's time to see all nine of our Hajike weirdoes off until the start of pt. 2...and that will be next time!
