I myself was given several chances with Sunday about 10 years before that but,
not being able to follow the fast balls in the hot-blooded peak of manga, I ended with only short lasting series.
Well, in any case, I guess I’d been releasing pieces for over half of Sunday’s history.

Mitsuru: There’s still no bottom in sight for Takahashi Rumiko.
In my case, I’m hiding the shallow bottom with water, and I’m grateful that there is the occasional reader who really reads my stories. Thanks to you, I’m somehow here today―
―But for Takahashi, in these thirty years she’s had ‘Urusei Yatsura’, ‘Ranma 1/2’ and ‘Inuyasha’, all grand slams that’ll stay in Sunday’s history.
And here I hit the ball a several of times, hoping for a fluke…
The reason that my lifestyle was forgiven was only because Sunday is loaded with homerun batters. So Takahashi and Aoyama, another big hitter, both of you thank you, thank you.

If you ask adults with worldly good sense (?), they’ll tell you there was nothing but poisonous reading.
The (?) isn't as easily understood in English as it is in Japanese (I believe) So it'd be safe to change the sentence to match that:
I guess if you were to ask adults who knew a thing or two about what's going on in the world they'd tell you it's nothing but poisonous reading. (or "nothing but poison for your mind")
and:
naturally, I had no fragment of a disobedient thought, such as becoming a mangaka at this time.
Maybe using "Had never crossed my mind" would be better than trying to stick to the way the japanese described it ;)
At night it was Mahjong with friends, and in the middle of night, night owl radio.
-I'd play Mahjong all night listening to the late night radio with my friends.
--
Anyway, just little things like this. As far as accuracy just some things here and there like:
―Naturally, the mornings it was tadiness, leading an utterly normal high school life.
Naturally, I lived a normal high school student's life, being tardy in the mornings and such.
I'll have to wait until you translate another manga with more speaking than narrative to see how you do with carrying nuances and such^^.
But really, good job! Contact me(via pm) if you're confused on something I'd be happy to help! :)
