Soichiro- God’s Trick?// Shizuku- It’s the same ’99 as the wine we broke.// It’s still young so I decanted it.

……本気か?//冗談では済まさんぞ
Soichiro……Are you serious?//You won’t get by with a joke.

もちろんです//オレがテイスティングしてますからご心配なく
Shizuku- Of course.// And I decanted it so there’s no reason to worry.

Shizuku- Yes……He’s my father.

Soichiro- So it was that. Then it may not be a stupid bluff.// Very well. You serve it.// Miyabi- Y-Yes.

Miyabi- Sigh~

上手い言い方だったわ雫さん//嘘はついてないけど社長絶対このワインをアンリ・ジャイエの｢クロ・パラントゥ｣だと思ってる//ああ

Alright then, I’m going to pretend to be a customer and check on the president.// Miyabi- W-Wait a minute!

｢サロン｣　平均にして3年に一度の農作年にしか作られない”幻のシャンパーニュ”
Anne- Salon. The ‘Phantom Champagne’ produced only once every three agricultural years.

この最新ヴィンテージの’95年モノがリリースされたのもつい最近のこと　最低でも7年通常10年はセラーに閉じ込めて熟成させる―//日本で言うとことの「箱入り娘」って感じかしら
The release of this newest vintage, ’95, was only just recent. It’s kept stored in a cellar and matured for at least 7 years, sometimes 10― In Japan I guess it would be like *‘a girl in a box’. *(Used to talk about a girl who is kept inside to be safely brought up)

15年前留学生だった君も箱入り娘だったね//でもあのころと少しも変わらない相変わらずきれいだ
Soichiro- You too were a girl in a box 15 years ago as a student in Japan.// But you haven’t changed a bit. You’re just as beautiful as ever.

ありがと　でもいろいろあったのよ//離婚もしたし//え?
Anne- Thanks. But a lot has happened.// There was also the divorce.// Soichiro- Eh?

Soichiro- You!// Waiter- Yes?// This caviar is too salty to go with the delicate flavor of Salon.

Anne- Soichiro, you’ve really turned into a fine man.
