This translation done at the request of Imangascans; since they pointed the one-shot out to me, they get first crack at using it.

That means he caused the devil king transformation to devolve [level down]?

魔力さえあれば“大魔王の魂”を封印する事も出来るのでごんすが
With enough magic power, even sealing the great devil king's soul is possible, but…

Time is still needed to accumulate it.
